My OneDrive files do not appear in the OneDrive tab on MS Teams

I downloaded Teams for personal use a few weeks ago on my personal laptop and used my @hotmail.com email address to log in. 

Today I attempted to viewe my OneDrive files by going to the Files > Cloud Storage > OneDrive tab in my Teams.

My OneDrive files are not displaying.

I was able to upload a word document to OneDrive via MS Team, and when looking at my OneDrive in a seperate browser 

Any tips?
