5 TopicsOwner is muted in a Team that is owner only posts.
Hi Everyone I have a strange issue where I have a Team that has been created and currently has 88 owners and 133 members. The Team is set to Only Owners can post messages. I have a user that has been added to the Team as an Owner but their chat and ability to post and reply has been muted and they are unable to post within the Team. I have removed the user from the Team using the main Teams Admin Portal. I waited 15 mins and then added them again as an Owner and still they are muted. I have installed the latest version of the Teams Windows App and still they are muted. I am also an owner of the Team and I am not muted. I have found the user in the team and confirmed they are listed as an owner and I don't have the ability to mute / unmute as they are an owner. The user in question also has access to the channel settings and has the ability to add members etc but the chat is still showing as muted. The user is an owner of other teams and they are not having this problem with the other Teams, just this particular one. I don't suppose there is somewhere else that this setting can exist or if there is something that I am potentially unaware of? Any assistance would be greatly welcome. Many Thanks Dan12KViews1like8CommentsMicrophone muting when entering call
Hello all, I have run a across an issue where a user's microphone is muting as soon as he dials out to an exterior number on teams and it will continue randomly muting itself throughout the call. This issue follows his account as we have tried to log him in on another device and it still occurred. It only happens on the Windows App, both the web app and phone app do not have this issue. Any ideas?2KViews0likes1CommentCarPlay - Mute button on/off glyph ambiguous (can't determine if mute ON or OFF)
Unlike in the mobile, web or desktop Apps in the Teams Apple CarPlay the mute button always uses the same glyph (i.e. mic with stroke through it).. it just make it white or grey.. is white mute or is grey mute 🤷🏾:male_sign:. This makes it nearly impossible to determine conclusively if the mute is on or off. The other platforms change the glyph to a mic with stroke through it for muted to a mic with no stroke through it when unmuted meaning it's easy to tell if you are muted or not. VERY ANNOYING.. I often have to pick up my phone (illegal and dangerous) to see if I'm muted. Never remember if white or grey is muted since don't used in car everyday.1.7KViews2likes0CommentsPlease add a setting "Join meeting on mute"
Dear developers, It can be quite embarrassing when you're joining a meeting and don't notice that you're not muted. This happens quite frequently when someone else joins a bigger meeting. You then join the meeting as well by simply confirming the popup and - if there's still time - you continue working and don't check your settings. Then you may say something to your colleagues in the same room or talk to yourself while working. Therefore, I'm sure that most Teams users would really appreciate such a setting (we had it in Skype). Thanks very much! Hi, I would like to know if it is possible to identify which presenter muted or removed participants during a Microsoft Teams meeting. Is there a way to access this information through meeting recordings, logs, or any other available tools within Teams? Thank you for your guidance on this matter!66Views0likes0Comments
