4 TopicsModern SharePoint site "Theme" suddenly changed from our Organization theme setup in Admin Portal
We use SharePoint Online and primarily have Modern sites created from O365 Groups. Late last week I noticed that our Modern sites (Group, Team & Communication sites) seem to have somehow reset and are no longer using the theme designated in the Admin Portal under Settings- Organization Profile. Our classic sites and SharePoint Home still show our Org theme. But, most of our sites are showing MS blue & white. I can't seem to change this. I've tried reapplying our theme but, no dice. Apply site script to existing site?
Perhaps I am just missing something obvious but how can site scripts (newly emerging SharePoint site-template system) be applied to an existing site? None of the Microsoft help pages/guides seem to demonstrate that, though at least one says: "Site designs are like a template. They can be used each time a new site is created to apply a consistent set of actions. They can also be applied to existing modern sites (Group-connected Team and Communication)." Hey Everyone, I am building out my first Modern Communications Site for a client and noticed something when publishing content. When creating a link using the Text web part, I have to know the link address, there is no option to find content already in SharePoint. This seems like a step backwards, or am I missing something? What's the recommended way to completely remove a modern teamsite?
Hello, I'd like to get your point of view on the "correct" way on how to remove a modern teamsite. The reason I'm asking is because once I remove an Office 365 group, either via O365 admin center or PowerShell (Remove-PnPUnifiedGroup), the site collection will not be removed with it. In a peculiar way the site collection will be locked and I'm getting a 403 forbidden error. I expect that if provisioning an O365 group creates a modern team site, removing th group should also lead to the removal of the site collection. Any points of view here?
