Adding Office 365 Exchange Active Sync Account to Android Native Email, Calendar and Contacts Apps If you are using two-factor authentication in Office 365 (AKA multi-factor authentication) you MUST use an App Password instead of your Office 365 Login Password when creating your Exchange Active Sync account on an Android device. See the following link to learn how to create an App Password: https://support.office.com/en-us/article/Create-an-app-password-for-Office-365-3e7c860f-bda4-4441-a618-b53953ee1183 If you don't use an App password during the setup, you will get the following message: Can't set up account. Authentication failed. As an aside, your domain\user entry should read: \yourusername@contoso.onmicrosoft.com or \yourusername@yourdomain.com Your server name should be: outlook.office365.comiOS PowerPoint App - Printing Multiple Slides Per Page
We have recently gone to the Office 365 Apps for iOS here and are largely quite happy with them overall with the exception of PowerPoint. One thing which constantly comes up is the inability for PowerPoint to print multiple slides per page. This was something that was in Keynote and has drastically increased our paper usage since we moved over to PowerPoint. Functionality is pretty self-explanatory. You basically have an option when you go to print of how many slides you would like to fit on each page. It will then scale the slides down to fit that number of slides on each sheet of whatever paper you are printing to. Going to assume the slide is flattened as an image and then scaled. Hopefully you gurus can figure it out and work it in for us! Would really love to see the ability to print multiple slides per page implemented into PowerPoint!!! Regards. P.S: I am well aware that in a perfect world, nobody should be printing things. Unfortunately hardcopy drafts are still required in some situations here. Wont be frustating you anymore than it is me!9.3KViews0likes0CommentsDefault landing page in SharePoint App
Hi All, I'm new to using the SharePoint app, hoping someone can help with the following. Viewing followed sites on windows and andriod phones, some site collections (top level and all subsites) open to the sites default home page but other site collection open to the activity page and the users then must navigate to the home page. I have tested enabling / disabling the mobile view feature on the sites but it doesn't seem to change this. Does anyone know what controls this? I was wondering if this is template / feature related? We want all sites to open at the home page. Many thanks6.5KViews0likes1CommentSticky Notes on iOS is syncing one way only
Since a few days ago, I noticed that the Sticky Notes on the iOS app is syncing one-way only. What I do on the iOS app gets synced to the cloud, but what I do everywhere else do not get updated on the iOS app. For example, if I create a Sticky Note on the iOS, I can see it on the web. If I then delete this note on the web, the copy on the iOS app do not get deleted. This happens in all of my iOS devices. This problem is just on Sticky Notes; OneNote notes are okay. Does anybody else have this experience?Use Office 365 to sync OneNote for Android with SharePoint team sites
To use your Office 365 account and sync SharePoint notebooks, add the SharePoint location to your phone. Open OneNote and tap Open notebook. If you have a notebook open, on the action bar, tap to go to the Notebooks view first. Under Other Notebooks, tap Add an Office 365 account for work/school notebooks. Enter your organization’s account information. After you sign in, your work or school notebooks will show under Other Notebooks.when I Insert an image from the OneNote mobile app text is not searchable by default
I use the OneNote mobile app alot to take pictures of documents to put in my notes. I want the document text searchable in OneNote. When I copy and paste an image on my computer into the OneNote desktop app note file, it automatically Enables the text to be searchable on the image, but when I insert the image from gallery OR take a picture of the document and insert through the mobile app and sync to the desktop app, the text being searchable is Disabled by default and I have to right click on every image and enable it, which is very annoying... especially if I am inserting multiple page documents. Is this intended for some reason? Is it a bug? How do I make this Enabled by default? Thanks Michael
