Exporting Office 365 mailboxes to PST is still a common requirement in many Microsoft 365 environments, especially for backup, compliance, and migration scenarios. While Microsoft offers native options like Purview eDiscovery and Outlook export, many administrators also consider third-party tools when dealing with large mailboxes or bulk export requirements. In real-world scenarios, factors like speed, ease of use, permission handling, and consistency of exported data often influence the choice of tool. Some teams prefer native methods for compliance control, while others explore third-party solutions to simplify large-scale or repeated export tasks. For those working with Microsoft 365, what has your experience been with third-party PST export tools? Have they helped in your environment, or do you still rely mainly on Microsoft’s native options?108Views1like2Commentsneed exchange se for hybrid environment
We have a hybrid Office 365 environment with an Exchange Server 2016 that no longer performs any role. It does not host any mailboxes and is not used as an SMTP relay. We would like to keep an Exchange installation solely for administrative purposes through the GUI. Questions: 1. Can we keep Exchange Server 2016 installed? 2. If we need to install Exchange Server Subscription Edition (SE), do we need licenses for this installation, considering that all our Office 365 licenses are Business licenses? Thank you.60Views0likes1CommentDisable incessant nagware popups
I don't know about everyone else, but I am sick and tired of the nagware pop ups in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc. Every single product harasses me with pop ups trying to tell me "hey, did you know this feature was here?", "you can do this if you click that", "let me hold your hand through using products you've used for decades even though you don't want daddy Microslop to do that". This is a prime example. I keep getting the same ones again and again and again and everything I've read indicates they should only appear once. But they don't. They keep coming back like a psychotic stalker ex who wants alimony even though you were never married. How do I get this nagware to stop?!143Views0likes1CommentMoving from Office 2016/2019 to Microsoft 365: What Changes?

Hello Everyone, https://windowsreport.com/microsoft-is-changing-how-it-releases-microsoft-365-app-updates/#:~:text=Starting%20July%202025%2C%20Microsoft%20will%20deprecate%20the%20Semi-Annual,being%20slashed%20from%2014%20months%20down%20to%208. We recently learned that the SAEC (Preview) will be deprecated starting July 8 2025. Since we have a uat group deployed on this update channel, we'll have to migrate them asap according to Microsoft recommendation. We have 2 questions: 1 - Is July 8 2025 date confirmed? 2 - If someone is in the same case, which update channel would you recommend for uat groups: back to the Semi-Annual standard channel or the Monthly Enterprise Channel? Dis some of you experience an important gap in terms of stability for critical business users?Solved972Views0likes3Comments
