16 TopicsIs there anyway to turn off the mute announcement in Skype for Business?
Specifically, the announcement of "Mute Off" when you want to talk during a conference call. The volume and duration can make you miss discussion or an opportunity to insert yourself. If we want to encourage people to go on mute to avoid background noise, we ought to eliminate this announcement all together.118KViews3likes10CommentsSkype for Business web scheduler - remove meeting

Normally, when presenting an uploaded PPT deck, putting it into full screen mode shows the black bars with controls on the top and bottom of the screen for a few seconds, and then the controls auto-hide. In the last couple of weeks, the auto-hide has stopped working, so that black bars overlay a chunk of the presentation forever. Anyone else experienced this and have any suggestions?11KViews0likes6CommentsHello from the Skype Business Services Conferencing team!

Our tenant was recently switched to enable Dynamic IDs. We would like our default option to use Public Meetings though so our team can continue ot use the dial-in ID they have been assigned and memorized. Using Set-CsMeetingConfiguration, we set the following properties: EnableAssignedConferenceType : True AssignedConferenceTypeByDefault : True Which we thought would enable private meetings, but have Public be the default. It seems like new meetings are Private by default and we can't find anywhere in the Outlook UI when setting up the meeting to change that. Has anyone else tried using this configuration? Is there something we are missing? Thanks!7.2KViews0likes6CommentsOnline video in PPT not playing automatically in SFB meeting for participants
Hi Guys, When we click to play an online video (video from Youtube) in PPT while sharing the PPT in SFB meeting, it seems to be playing on the organizer computer, but not for participants. It seems totally different from embedded local video in PPT (https://support.office.com/en-US/article/Play-a-video-in-a-Skype-for-Business-meeting-1bb30e51-d8f9-4ef6-b018-b170439e7488). Is it normal that it doesn't play for participants if the inserted video is from online? Thanks.2.4KViews0likes4CommentsSfb Online - Call back is not working on IOS

When using the iPhone with the latest client installed, and on either an ad-hoc call, peer to peer, or scheduled meeting, when a call comes in over the PSTN to the cellular number, this knocks out the Skype for Business call, or at best puts it on hold. This is for me at worst a minor annoyance, unless I am speaking, but for the rest of my user base, this is a major issue. How do we stop this from occuring? Are we missing a setting on the iPhone that auto-ignores incoming calls for the cell phone whislt using the S4B client for a VoiP call?786Views0likes0CommentsHosting skype meetings on small DSL lines
Hi We are trying to get our users to move from hosting meetings in WebEx and start hosting them in Skype FB instead. But often it seems that if a user is sitting on a smaller DSL line (e.g. 13/1 mbit), a WebEx presentation will run fine but running the presentation in Skype FB will not work very well. I have asked MS skype team about this but can not get a straight answer about, what the recomendation is to a DSL line size. My example is that my users has a 13/1 mbit DSL line and hosts a presentation with 6 participents. The participents is a mix of internal users and external users. My user experience that the presentation is ended with errors: "network issues", "Error during screen presentation", "Can not connect to presentation server". There is a lot of varibels here, but my first guess is, that a 1 mbit upload will be the first problem. But can anyone comment on this, with their experience on mbit size or other factores?Solved2.3KViews0likes5Comments
