Can sensitive data be masked in Microsoft Purview?
Currently, I have a requirement to mask sensitive data and information in file formats such as Word, Excel, TXT, and PDF for all employees in the company. Based on the documentation I have read, solutions like DLP or IP in Microsoft Purview only support monitoring or encrypting these files but do not provide an action to mask data. Is it feasible to mask sensitive data using Microsoft DLP Purview?
Why is My MAC-Address Resolved Backwards My IP-Address
When I go into my monitoring software, new and strange MAC addresses keep popping up. These MAC addresses also have an associated IP address and when I then convert my MAC address to decimal I get the IP address written backwards. Example: MAC--> 49-CA-B7-0A-00-00 IP --> 10.183.202.73 The DHCP recognizes this address also as BAD_ADDRESS and my question is now, can it be because of the DHCP, DNS or the monitoring software OpUtils? And if you have a solution, can you explain me how I can work around this so that it no longer occurs?I can't create a broadcast port-forward for remote WOL
As the title says i suppose. I'm trying to wake a PC remotely, on the LAN side its fine, WAN doesn't work (I'm assuming) as i cant create a manual broadcast IP port-forwarded in my router (192.xxx.xxx.255). My router (TP-Link Deco) will only portforward connected devices. Can anyone think of a work around?The only thing that keeps me from switching to Bing as my default and daily search engine is This.
Bing changes my safe search settings every time I connect to my VPN (another Country). Every single time. Google does Not do this. so it happens like this. at first I don't use VPN and I'm connected with my own IP address to the Internet, I do a search in Bing and from the side panel I see safe search is set to restricted, so I go to the settings and turn that thing off. after few minutes I connect my VPN, reopen my browser and do a search in Bing, I see the safe search setting is back to restricted/moderate. again I go to the Bing settings and turn it off. now I turn off my VPN and use my own IP again, reopen my browser, do a search in Bing and there it is. safe search is back to restricted again! this is beyond frustrating, words can't even describe it. I do love Bing and I hate to use Google knowing they are a data mining company. but things like that....LITTLE things like that, prevent me from using Bing. I have this problem with Bing on both mobile and PC. using Microsoft Edge browser. Bing should retain my preferences Either in the form of cookies or in my Account settings. when I explicitly set a specific country in Bing settings and then turn off safe search for it, it shouldn't be changed automatically, no matter what IP I use, because it's still MY Microsoft account, not somebody else's, I don't set the country to "Auto-detect" or anything like that and I don't want safe search preferences to be reset when my country changes/I use VPN. the problem with Bing is that Microsoft tied Safe search preference to country. that's so wrong. they are 2 different things.
Reset/Remove restricted ip access to sharepoint online
Hello, I have set restricted ip access to my sharepoint website, and added my ip in list of allowed ip address. according this document - https://support.office.com/en-us/article/control-access-to-sharepoint-online-and-onedrive-data-based-on-defined-network-locations-b5a5f1f1-1174-4c6b-91d0-9273a6b6971f Now problem is my ISP changed my ip address, Now even being administrator of my office 365 tenant I am not able to access my sharepoint website. Is there any way to overcome this issue? Regards, Ashish
