installation errors

Hello, I introduce myself as new with a problem in the version developer windows. I tried to download a finished program in . exe: "macrium reflect home" without results. The error is that the windows installer service does not start, but it updates and lets you download other programs. I tried to start the service manually, make a rep with sfc /scannow, delete temporary files and download this tool: "https://download.microsoft.com/download/7/E/9/7E9188C0-2511-4B01-8B4E-0A641EC2F600/MicrosoftProgram_Install_and_Uninstall.meta.diagcab ". But nothing has worked, because in the windows registry I still have the error that does not start windows installer or rather called: "msiexec.exe" I hope someone can give me a solution without making a downgrade to install this program. Hi Team, My sincere apologies as I know these issues have been discussed before along with their fix, but unfortunately, that didn't fix my install due to below error screenshots: I have been trying to troubleshoot this issue since two days. have tried repairing, rebooting, multiple uninstall and installs. but nothing would work. I have attached the Activity logs file too. I am surely missing onto something, so kindly share. Any suggestions are appreciated.822Views0likes0CommentsTeams fails to complete installation correctly
I'm trying to install Teams on my Apple MAC. I've downloaded the software and just as the installation completes, Teams starts up, but shows the error message below. I have a licence for a Small Business O365 (persistent licence rather than subscription). Teams isn't included with the licence, but I don't know if this is the issue. Either way, I'm stuck here as I can't get passed this window. If I click on the "sign out" link, it just fires up the same window with the same error. Is anyone able to help, please? - Dave.1.1KViews0likes0CommentsVBox: Remote Management / Add Roles & Features: The WS-Management service cannot process the request
Hello, I have installed Windows Server 2019 in a VirtualBox 6.1 machine. In the Server Manager I want to activate remote management and install roles like AD DS, but these error messages appear: Local Server \ Remote Management: "The WS-Management service cannot process the request because the XML is invalid." Add Roles and Features: "The WS-Management service cannot process the request. The service in configured to not accept any remote shell requests." I have created the VirtualBox virtual machine as "Windows 2016" and tried several options like EFI, I/O APIC, PAE/NX, nested VT-x, nested paging, NAT, bridged adapter. In the Local Group Policy Editor (Windows Server virtual machine), I have manually enabled "Allow Remote Shell Access" in Local Computer Policy > Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Remote Shell and run gpupdate /force. I have also installed Windows Server in VirtualBox on two other computers, but the same problem appears. I hope anyone can help me solve this problem. What has to be configured to make the WS-Management service work correctly?3KViews0likes3CommentsProblems installing applications to Program Files(x86)
Dear Community, I started to get a very strange error on a few of my computers. i am currently managing our infrastructure and deployment on all desktops and laptops, but i started to realize and see some strange anomalies on a few of them. Upon trying to install any type of application i get the following error: Could not set file security for file C:\Program Files(x86)\Application name. I don't know nor if this is been caused by a windows update, patch or any type of new windows feature. Within my organization i run and manage a WSUS server to help and deploy all the new packages to our computers and i use MDT to deploy desktop and laptops. The anomaly has currently appeared on 3 computers now for older laptops but also on freshly installed computers. Is there a known KB that's causing a problem. Please advise713Views0likes0Comments
