99 TopicsPython for Excel not showing in Formulas
I've followed the following steps: https://insider.microsoft365.com/en-us/join/windows chose insider level "Beta channel" and installed insider builds, waited for it to install and then opened excel and still python for excel can not be found and typing '=PY' in the formula bar gives an error. Any idea where is that coming from ? P.S when I search for python in the search bar I get "insert python" option but nothing happens when I click on it Thanks47KViews15likes42CommentsDataSource Error Access To The Path is Denied / PowerQuery Mac
I am trying to read a datasource (CSV) into Power Query. I keep getting DataSource error saying that it cannot read the file. This happens whether I try using "Get Data" or just editing an existing query so that it points to a different source. An exception occurred: [DataSource.Error] Access to the path '/my/path/to/the/file.csv' is denied. (Session ID: 6cc4c6b5-96d6-4d58-b68a-f20fcab1aa8f) Sometimes, If I make a copy of the file, then I can import that copy. But if I change the name back to what I want it to be named, then it can't connect. It's the same file, just with a different name. Sometimes when I go to Get Data, all the potential choices (ie.. all the CSV files) are grayed out. But if I rename one of the files then that one will (sometimes) not be greyed out and I can select it. But if I change it back to the name I want, then it grays out again. Very frustrating as a simple duplication task (ie. duplicating a query and then adding a different source) has become very hard indeed. Any ideas why this might be happening?18KViews3likes19CommentsWelcome to Excel Android beta program !
