Excel Beta update Aug-14 crashes on startup

Update last night, and today I can't start the app.  Splash screen for a second, then back to home.  Galaxy S8+ on Android 8.

    I'm having the same issue. Word and PowerPoint seems to work fine for me. Issue persists through restarts, and doesn't matter if it's mobile data or Wi-Fi. I have the Google Pixel 3a XL on Android 9

      Hi JaykeBird and others,

       

      I was able to clear this.  I stopped the app and cleared the app cache, and then all app data.  Lost all my settings, but after that I can use Excel again.
