I noticed on my test system that setting up a new profile in Dev/Canary sync doesn't work correctly - specifically, extensions do not install properly. In my stable channel build everything is working, however when it attempts to sync to Dev/Canary only the "forced" extension I have enabled via policy shows/works, where as the others are not in the extension list, but are present in the AppData user data folder. I've attempted to reset sync and have everything get pulled down again, but the issue persists. I've tried clearing out the profile and re-installing Dev/Canary to see if having it force re-sync would help, but it does not. TLDR - syncing extensions to dev/canary with enterprise sync breaks any extension that is not 'forced' to install via policySolved165Views0likes2CommentsDownloads not completing
similar to this one but on an enterprise estate using edge stable as opposed to being an insider https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/discussions/edge-downloads-are-not-completing/m-p/4005963 I have replicated this on edge stable beta and dev i've also restarted / refreshed the browser - same issue exists afterwards and no new policies have been rolled out.3.8KViews1like18CommentsOfficial Download links for Microsoft Edge Stable Enterprise

I am a consultant with a domain joined workstation with an O365 business account (MyUser@MyCompany.com). I work for MANY different customers that provide me with MyUser@TheirCompany.com O365 accounts so that I can service them. I create multiple Edge profiles, one for each email, but my domain-joined MyUser@MyCompany.com is constantly injected into various O365 logins across the various browsers/profiles. Some websites (i.e. PowerAutomate) make it almost impossible to login with the proper customer email address. It's caused various issues where my work email ends up requesting to be an external Azure user in customer tenants. This appears to be a bug to me.928Views0likes2CommentsFeature Request: Install site as an app for multiple users
I've loved the "Install this site as an App" feature since it's IE equivalent, and use it quite a bit now that apps can just be Start Menu shortcuts rather than taking up space on the taskbar. I'd love the ability to create an Edge App that isn't specific to the user account though. We are moving away from having admin tools installed on IT Staff's individual desktops, and towards publishing them through an RDSH Farm. This works well for 'classic' applications or MMC tools, but more and more tools are becoming browser-based. Whilst I have MS Edge installed on the Session Hosts, and I can publish a shortcut to launch edge to a particular address, I'd like to be able to use the fully immersive "app" experience through the Farm too.1.1KViews0likes1CommentWhy this policy is producing error? Configure new tab page URL
It's this Policy: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/DeployEdge/microsoft-edge-policies#newtabpagelocation And based on the description, I've set it correctly on Edge 87 (the installed up-to-date policy files are also for Edge 87) But it isn't being applied and I see an error in Edge:policy why does it say the policy is blocked? what am I doing wrong?8.9KViews1like13Comments
