Lets say on my work i have to do the same exact activities, one after another and my boss wants to assign those tasks to my team through Microsoft Teams, how can i make like a sample tasks that i just change the name but the check list is the same and that those tasks are linked one after another. Besides that I want to know if its possible to graph how much time it takes me to complete those tasks using Power Bi or any other application from Office 365. Thanks for your time and help.168KViews2likes18CommentsPlanner and Teams restrictions
Good morning! I am looking for someone within the development team that can help resolve an issue that restricts the use of Planner within Teams. Here is my scenario: Currently, you can only add a Planner tab to a Teams channel if everyone within that team has access to the Team, Channel, and Planner. My Teams needs are different. I need the capabilities to have a Team with a group of owners and restrict channels to individuals that may not have access to the remaining Teams channels. Within those channels, I need the ability to add a Planner board that is accessible to everyone in that channel. That option is locked. It's possible with many other apps, but not Planner. The only solution we have is to create an individual Team with individual channels for each scenario which is very limiting and cumbersome. Can we get help from the Teams and Planner folks to overcome this hurdle?10KViews1like1CommentAdding numbering capability to each Task in Planner
Hello everybody I was wondering if there was any work been done on adding a numbering system to the Tasks in Planner? At the moment, me and my Team have to use a completely different system to generate a job number and then paste it on to a Task and then assign it. This will cut a lot of processing and it will enable us to use one platform (Planner) for all task allocation. Kind regards Mauro10KViews1like4CommentsPlans to add "Completed/Archived Bucket" section?
We've recently started using planner and within 1 plan (IT Plan) we have several buckets (Projects). Each bucket for us represents a different project, and within the buckets you have your tasks. Well, as we complete tasks and eventually the entire bucket (meaning project is completed), we move the bucket to the end of all active buckets/projects. Eventually this list will be huge. We want to save all past projects/buckets however we do not want them flooding the current projects. Doesn't seem like best practice to just throw the completed buckets at the end and pretend they're not there (Image 1 ). I don't think the answer is "Create a plan per projects" since there is also no ability to archive plans it would seem and the left side would be flooded with projects as well. Ultimately if we could have more bucket management/control/archive feature as a drop down (Image 2). Thank you! Image 1 Image 29KViews3likes5CommentsPlanner Task URL Scheme
We are looking to integrate the automation and management of Planner tasks through other systems with Flow and would also like to notify people via email if they are assigned to a task with a direct link to that task in Planner. Can anyone provide a URL schema to be able to put together the link via an e-mail notification?6.7KViews2likes4Comments
