I had an issue with my microphone — it wasn’t showing up on my laptop. So I contacted Windows Support. They tried every possible solution, and then their team asked me to reinstall Windows. After the reinstallation, I suddenly lost the Quick Assist feature, and my laptop started behaving like a completely new device. Because of this, all my drivers were removed, and I had to download and install them manually from the internet to fix the issues. I opened another support ticket with Windows Support, but after asking me a few questions, they didn’t provide any proper solution. Instead, they just continued asking feature-related questions. As a result, I lost all the data on my laptop. I knew the data was still stored inside the Windows folder, but I didn’t recover it in time. Later, I deleted the folder because it was taking up too much storage space. Now I’m using Windows like a brand-new system, and after this experience, I have decided that I will never contact Windows Support again !!!!!!!39Views0likes2CommentsUpload inexistant avec KB5066835 (26100.6899)
Hello, I switched from Windows 10 to Windows 11 24H2. As a programmer, I had many programs open simultaneously on Windows 10. My taskbar had two rows, allowing me to quickly switch between programs. Microsoft always talks about making everything faster. The fact that you can't even make the taskbar two-row is a complete step backward. I'll go back to Windows 10 for now and hope Microsoft improves this. Or is there a way to enlarge the taskbar? The left navigation pane of File Explorer displays default folders such as 3D Objects, Desktop, Documents, Downloads, Music, Pictures, and Videos. I wish to completely hide or remove these entries. Please advise on the procedure.553Views0likes2CommentsHow to stop this Windows update?
I need to stop this KB5067036 preview. Don't want it!! Tried the Group policy OOBE tweak - changing it to to "2" for notify before downloading updates. Doesn't work. Deprecated now? Checked the Windows \WinsXs folder for pending XML's. None. Set wifi to metered connection. Well, that stopped the other 2 downloads anyway! Want to ditch JUST this KB, not wipe the entire update history, so don't suggest that.146Views0likes2CommentsKB5066853 keeps failing installation

Hello world, Recently updated to 24H2 feature update on my Dell Latitude 7450 laptop. Update took hours to complete. However, after login in, we found all the exe and com file extensions are broken. From notepad, task manager to Command prompt are not working. Tried all possible ways to restore the file associations thorough the recovery startup page, but did not help, until completely uninstall all quality and feature updates. 24H2 is still matured till this day, i believe. Please let me know if there is a workaround on this issue or a patch is available addressing this issue. Thank you.2KViews0likes4Comments
