SQL MI Restore with valid SAS key failing with Operating System Error 86
We will provide details about a workaround for resolving the "Operating System Error 86" encountered during database restoration from Azure Storage on SQL Managed Instance. In this scenario, the Storage Account was not behind firewall and the credential already had a valid SAS token.
Office templates are not reachable via Content Delivery Network
Hey, I'm facing an issue since months and cannot find any solution to it even with the Microsoft Support so I want to share my problem here. I configured in SharePoint Online a library for using with Office templates, like many times before. So the employees can open e.g. Word then go to New -> customer domain name and see there Office templates there. It was working for some time and then suddenly it stopped working for every employee of my customer with the error message "you are not signed in or your cached credential has expired". This message appears directly under the domain name within the New site in Word. We tried with signing in and out, reinstall Office, completly new installed notebooks, new creation of the template library, permission tests and so and nothing is working. Even stranger is the fact that this functionality is still working when the employees working from their local office but it is not working in any homeoffice working place^^ Of course we checked the conditional access policies and login logs in Azure AD, but no issue can be found there too. MSteams and SSO_pop_device can not create credential
Hello, We use office 365 at company. Outlook and other Microsoft app is syncing with user-accounts well. but, on one of the clients, MSteams and SSO_pop_device can not create credential atControl Panel\All Control Panel Items\Credential Manager. From time to time, he gets an error while open the MSTeams. since there is no credential at Credential Manager, Teams can not find password and make authentication properly. I have to uninstall and install again. this works just for a while. after some days, the error shows up again. As I checked, there is noSSO_pop_device at Credential Manager. do you have any idea why it's happened?Windows credential manager and Edge password manager
I want to suggest to sync passwords saved in Edge with Windows credential manager in order for them to be accessible to all other apps and programs in Windows and also operate as a system wide password manager. Windows credential manager stores passwords from Internet explorer and legacy Edge but not the new Edge browser, the link is broken and the two components don't talk to each other anymore. the problem at the moment is that some passwords are stored in my Edge browser password manager, some others are stored in Windows credential manager by other apps, If i want to change password of a website, I have to manually update it in both places. also the apps i use on Windows 10 only talk to Windows credential manager and they don't use Edge password manager, so this creates the need to save password in 2 places and duplicate them. Such a great secure encrypted native feature in Windows that is rarely paid attention to. this is the system-wide password manager of Windows, just like the one in Android and Mac.
