Summarize Long Email Threads Reading through lengthy email threads can be time-consuming, especially when multiple participants are involved. Copilot can quickly summarize the key points from an email chain, helping you catch up on conversations without having to read every message. For example: Input: âSummarize this email thread.â Output: Copilot generates a concise summary of the discussion, highlighting decisions made, questions raised, and any important follow-up actions. This feature is especially useful when youâre catching up on emails after a period of absence or need to review discussions involving many participants. 2. By analyzing the content of your emails and your interactions with contacts, Copilot can automatically flag important emails for you. This feature helps reduce overwhelm by ensuring that no critical emails slip through the cracks. 4. Whether youâre trying to coordinate a meeting with multiple participants or responding to a request for a time slot, Copilot can automate the scheduling process for you. For example: Input: âSchedule a meeting with Sarah next week and find a time slot.â Output: Copilot checks your calendar and suggests available time slots, then automatically sends a meeting invite based on the selected time. This integration with your calendar eliminates the back-and-forth often involved in scheduling meetings, making the process seamless. 5. Analyse Attachments and Email Content When emails contain attachments like spreadsheets or documents, Copilot can analyse the content and provide summaries or key insights, saving you from having to open multiple files. It can also assist in drafting responses based on the attached content. For example: Input: âSummarize the data in the attached Excel file.â Output: Copilot reviews the attachment and generates a summary of the key points, which you can include in your email reply. This feature is particularly useful when dealing with reports, proposals, or lengthy documents. 6. Follow Up Reminders Copilot can set reminders for follow-up actions, ensuring that you stay on top of important conversations. If an email mentions a deadline or follow-up task, Copilot can automatically prompt you to act by a certain date. For example: Input: âRemind me to follow up on this by Friday.â Output: Copilot sets a reminder in your Outlook calendar or task list, ensuring you never miss a deadline. Hello, I predominantly use Outlook through the website via Chrome. I also use OneDrive, Excel, and Word through Chrome quite often. I had a tech person walk me through removing Copilot from my computer's apps - the actual programs - but it's still showing up on my website uses. I do not support AI, AI is absolute trash, and I want Copilot completely eliminated from everything I use. I am tired of having to close the Copilot 'summary' that automatically pops up at the top of all my emails. Is there an easy way to completely eliminate this, or am I doomed? Thank you!3.4KViews14likes4CommentsSchedule a Meeting Using Copilot in Outlook

My users with Microsoft 365 Copilot licenses have noticed a newer feature that automatically rebooks meetings with an alternate room if the selected room is unavailable. It appears that this setting is on by default and can be turned off on a per case basis when a new meeting event is being scheduled. Is there a way to turn it off by default and allow people to enable it when a new calendar item is being created instead? Here is what it looks like for me in Outlook. I can click on Edit from the new meeting window and turn it off for a single event. I haven't found a way to change that default behavior. Has anyone found a way to adjust this? Thank you! We need to explore how to build a Copilot for scheduling meetings. This Copilot should automatically suggest meeting times, check availability across company calendars, and manage invites. Our users already have Copilot licenses. Since weâre not experts in Copilot, we need to clarify if this functionality is available in Copilot for Outlook in the US. If it is, how can we use and customize these features? If not, what would be the approach to build something similar using the Copilot interface in Outlook?1.2KViews0likes2CommentsCoPilot in Outlook for multiple mailboxes?
Hello everyone, my customer wants to use CoPilot in Outlook for more than one mailbox. I just learned that CoPilot in Outlook is only available for the users primary mailbox. Of course I'm not happy about that, but let's put the complaints aside for a moment. What if we buy a Copilot license for multiple users and add their mailboxes to Outlook. I'm not talking about delegation or shared mailboxes, I'm talking about adding multiple mailboxes with different users. Will that give me access to CoPilot scenarios for all those mailboxes? I have my doubts, because I assigned a CoPilot license to a user with an Exchange Online P1 license, which was configured in Outlook as a second user, and the CoPilot feature did not show up. If anyone is able to use CoPilot in Outlook for multiple mailboxes, please let me know how you did that. Thanks a lot, Christian Toller tethis IT e.U. Vienna, Austria1.2KViews2likes3Comments
