OneDrive Context menu missing Hi guys, I’m having some issues regarding OneDrive and it’s Context Menu not being present on files. Environment: Windows 11 23H2, Intune managed OneDrive Build: 25.005.0112.30003 (64-bit) Affected users: all I tried all the fixes I could find on the Internet, but none have helped. Devices don’t have issues with synchronization, they only have an issue with the Context Menu missing. I can only see Always Keep on this Device and Free Up Space. Even if I press Show More Options, only the same only two previously mentioned appear. Is there anything else which I could have missed? Intune policies – no one seems to control such a thing, the context menu. Is there really not a known fix for this issue? 1. UAC control - ⦁ How to change the User Account Control policies to allow OneDrive context menus - Microsoft Support In my case, both explorer and onedrive are with No, at the Elevated status According to the above article, the following Local Security policies are in place: 2. Check if the shell extension is blocked Add or Remove "Move to OneDrive" context menu in Windows 11 | Windows 11 Forum The Key Blocked did not even exist on the device. I’ve went and added it manually, for both current user and all users, nothing has changed. 3. Fresh install of OneDrive, downloaded from ⦁ Download the OneDrive App for PC, Mac, Android, or iOS – Microsoft OneDrive – no luck 4. Reinstalling OneDrive with /allusers parameter – no luck. Had a look through HKRoot\* - nothing I did made a difference. Hello - I commonly used the context menus in the ToDo web app (using on desktop) to move tasks between lists in the way demonstrated here: Move tasks between or within lists Following the update to version 2.119.1 which I believe happened earlier this week I can no longer access any context menus, can't drag and drop tasks and cannot find anyway to move tasks between lists. This was a key feature for my workflow so I really need it back.Solved3.5KViews0likes3CommentsWindows 11: Turn the "Show more options" context menu into a slide down menu
Turn the "Show more options" context menu into a slide down menu and show those extra options in modern style Change the Windows 11 context menu so that when user clicks/taps on "show more options", the context menu expands and the rest of the options become visible in the same modern style with a sliding down animation, possibility with the ability for user to scroll up/down through the options (with mouse wheel or touch). There's a chromium fork called Cent Browser, which have a feature that allow users to search for selected text in non-default search engines, by right-clicking and choose "Search other engines for" submenu. I used to use this browser and changed to edge for a year, and every time I have to copy.the text and paste into the address bar to search with a specific SE. It'll make Edge more powerful if there's such a submenu in Edge, and a selector on the search sidebar, and if possible, a SE selector in address bar just like Firefox, as not everybody can memorize all SEs in their browser. It'll be even better if there's a hide option to hide some of the SEs from the submenu and selectors (still can be used by abbr. + Tab key).990Views1like2CommentsSoon we are getting more mini/bubble style context-menu options on Edge
Edge Canary has this option in the appearance settings (controlled feature rollout) "Mini menu when selecting texts in PDFs" is referring to this but notice, it's not just a single toggle button, in fact it's an item of a longer list, or group. also obvious when you look at that part in dev tools. another sign is that at the top it says "Context Menus" yes, plural, more than one. my guess is that more of these bubble/popup style menus will show up soon. the next place is probably going to be Immersive Reader mode, where you don't have to right-click on highlighted text anymore, or keep going up and down to use the toolbar items repeatedly. you just highlight a text and all the available options will automatically be presented to you. it could also hint at customization abilities that might be coming to the regular right-click menu and maybe let us customize each option that appears there, to shorten it and tune it to our needs, since many people, including myself, complained that it's getting too long1.5KViews2likes0CommentsSS28: selection to bookmarks + vivaldi example of what i reported you previously
Suggestion (SS): 28 Classification: Bookmarks PRIORITY IN MY OPINION: 4 on a scale from 1 (low) to 10 (high) Here my idea i got after visiting a suggestion in vivaldi about add current tab to a folder (which is available for vivaldi and edge). I tested it out and in edge is available, but creates problem, like where you continuosly add it under ddd instead inside ddd. only 1 time you added it in ddd. PS: is not the first time i see problems with other bookmarks, you should check if all functions really work correctly with other bookmarks. Same if i do that you should avoid to show me that for the creation of folders. <<<<<<< second: i tried to select 3 tabs, and then do the same. is not possible. <<<<<<< third: i still think vivaldi add to bookmark option without right click is much better. please consider to implement it to edge too. <<<< because we are talking about vivaldi, here other points i like reload miniature (i suggested this to you only for bookmarks bar) like i suggested you with shortcut for bookmarks and other things (i noticed only after sending you the suggestions, that vivaldi has already such option, but still limited compared to what i told you, which is much more complex) this is similar to what i told you too, but vivaldi show us directly the webpage, is not a second bookmarks bar ability to change default bookmarks bar. (NEW SUGGESTION, but less important, since i use different profile. it still remains cool) same like i wrote you yesterday to remove things from the bar position of new tab, like i suggested you keep last tab open, like i suggested you a lot of option like i suggested you (or better some things are not available in vivaldi too) show me only icons inside bookmarks bar, full name in other bookmarks or when you hide url from bookmarks bar (like suggested). i still think a way to add personal customized folder color to bookmarks is usefull too even if i don't really like to use shortcuts (via keyboard with crtl alt etc., not things like <ddd $dd) ... but i like how they do. trackpad gesture, like suggested is much more clean search always in new tab (NEW SUGGESTION) .... PS: until now i don't use vivaldi, because they create library folders problems. so i just use it as a normal second browser for quick searches. this is why maybe the list of good features is not complete. once devs fix such problem, i can send more vivaldi based suggestion too. i still think main points are now available in this post, a lot is already included in previous submitted suggestions. Here even what i don't like previews different colours for each tab ... other ... (yes, you can disable such things). about the download suggestion, something like where i can set "save to /user/ccc/applications" and then "save this website always in this folder" or "if /externaldrive/... is not available, use /user/ccc/applications instead".1.3KViews0likes0CommentsContext Menu Selecting (Laptop)
Hello, Perhaps there is a simple solution to this that I am missing, or perhaps this has already been mentioned, but when opening the "Right-Click" context menu, I have noticed that selections can only be made using the "Left-Click" rather than the traditional "Left or Right". I made sure to double check my sanity in Internet Explorer, Chrome, and Firefox, and all allow "Left or Right" selections in the context menu. Not sure if this is in the pipes for adjusting on Canary or Dev, but I am eagerly waiting. Cheers,1.4KViews0likes4Comments
