When you press Win + a number key to open a pinned app on the taskbar, the app window opens but does not automatically receive keyboard focus, causing subsequent keyboard input to still be directed to the previous window. You must click the app window with the mouse to begin typing normally.24Views0likes1CommentIt is recommended that the Send To option be included by default in the right-click menu.
Currently, the default right-click menu in Windows 11 does not include a Send to option. To find this option, you need to hold down the Shift key and right-click, or select Show more options. We recommend adding this feature directly to the right-click menu for files and folders so you can access it quickly and easily.17Views0likes1CommentHow Can I Cut a MP4 Video File in Windows 11
Have a long MP4 video that needs to be trimmed down into a short clip for posting on social media. The original footage is 30 minutes long but only a specific section in the middle is actually worth sharing, so everything before and after needs to be cut out. Tried the built-in Photos app on Windows 11 but the trimming tool feels imprecise and the export quality didn't look great compared to the original. Social media platforms are already notorious for compressing video quality on upload, so starting with the cleanest possible cut matters a lot here. Anyone found a reliable and straightforward way to cut MP4 files on Windows 11 with minimal quality loss?73Views0likes8CommentsDRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE (0x9F) on ASUS X870E-E & Ryzen 9 9950X3D
Hello, I am experiencing frequent BSODs with the stop code DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE (0x9F). Hardware: ASUS ROG Strix X870E-E Gaming WiFi • AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D • Windows 11 • Latest AMD chipset drivers installed from the ASUS website • BIOS 2306 (the issue also occurred before updating to this BIOS) Symptoms: • Random BSODs during very light workloads (Outlook, Chrome, PDFCreator). • Today I experienced four BSODs within 20 minutes. • Sometimes the PC can run for about an hour before crashing. • The computer also wakes from sleep by itself every 10 to 15 minutes. Troubleshooting already performed: • BIOS updated. • AMD chipset drivers completely removed and reinstalled. • OCCT CPU and memory stress tests completed without errors. • No WHEA errors reported. • Normal CPU and motherboard temperatures. WinDbg analysis: Bugcheck: DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE (0x9F) IMAGE_NAME: pci.sys Failure Bucket: 0x9F_3_ACPI_IMAGE_pci.sys Power IRP blocked in ACPI. Device identified: PCI\VEN_1022&DEV_14DB I also found another ASUS ROG Strix X870E-E Gaming WiFi user reporting the same DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE (0x9F). In that case, WinDbg identified Usb4HostRouter.sys instead of pci.sys. Could this indicate an AMD chipset, ACPI, USB4 controller or motherboard PCIe power management issue? I can provide the minidump files, the complete WinDbg analysis and the Windows Event Viewer logs if needed. Thank you.26Views0likes1CommentWhen I right-click an app icon pinned to the taskbar, the jump list doesn't appear.
When I right-click the icon of a pinned app on the taskbar, the list of recently opened files that should appear does not show up. Restarting File Explorer temporarily resolves the issue, but it recurs.23Views0likes1CommentUnable to install latest update
Hello, I am unable to install 2026-07 Update (KB5121767) (26200.8894) on a Lenovo ThinkPad X1 laptop. On another device everything went fine. Several times the download slowly reaches somewhere and then the cumulative update is not installed. A button appears to repeat the procedure. I have applied procedures to clear the cache for the updates. Can you give an advisory opinion.255Views0likes3CommentsThe PIN is invalid and needs to be reset
When unlocking the system, a prompt appears stating that your PIN is invalid and needs to be reset. When attempting to reset the PIN as instructed, entering your original PIN consistently results in a verification failure, preventing the reset from completing. As a result, you are forced to log in using a password. This issue occurs frequently following system updates.31Views0likes1Comment
