Hi, In the last couple of weeks the Microsoft Print to PDF has dropped off my laptop. I have tried everything suggested online already but I cannot get it to work. I have a Samsung Galaxy Book 4 Edge with Windows 11 ARM64 and Snapdragon which I have only had since the beginning of Jan. I am not very techie but I have tried the following based on other forums I have looked at: Checked it is turned on in windows features - it is Turned it off in windows features and restarted then turned it back on and restarted Tried to reinstall in via add device but when I go to the list of drivers it isn't there so I cannot select it Checked the print queue but it's not in there Various things on command prompt including: dism /Online /Disable-Feature /FeatureName:”Printing-PrintToPDFServices-Features” /NoRestart dism /Online /Enable-Feature /FeatureName:”Printing-PrintToPDFServices-Features” /NoRestart Updates to the powershell including: Disable-WindowsOptionalFeature -online -FeatureName Printing-PrintToPDFServices-Features Enable-WindowsOptionalFeature -online -FeatureName Printing-PrintToPDFServices-Features I just get an error code: 0x800f0922 I also did a full factory rest of my laptop and NOTHING!!!!!! I have just done a screen share with Microsoft and they reinstalled my office 365 but that did nothing and then I was told they couldn't help and to post here. PLEASE can someone help me fix this as it is driving me crazy? I need to create PDF's of my invoices to make sure I get paid each month.27KViews4likes28CommentsVarious multiple monitor issues on Surface Laptop Studio (1) since driver updates.
Issues started directly after NVIDIA - Display - 32.0.15.7344 or Surface - Extension - 14.54.139.0 both installed on 2025-10-21 Issues occur when a second monitor is attached, and either extend or duplicate screens is selected. Using only one screen has no issue. Checked with different cables, bypassing HUB and different monitors. All show the same issues. Issues are (but not limited to) 3D (Vulkan) applications in non full-screen mode glitch with a triangle like tearing between the frames. This is a screenshot from a derivate of the Vulkan tutorial. To illustrate the tearing I alternate the clear colour to black and green. With only one monitor selected (either one) the green flashes as expected. With two monitors, even with duplicate display(!), this tearing which seems to be the presentation not waiting for the chain to finish rendering. Again this was all fine before the update. In borderless full window mode it is okay, as the NVIDIA driver doesn't use the INTEL integrated swap chain. Clear type tech is not working, and text is chroma distorted. Happens in all apps, including Microsoft ones. I can literally have an app like visual studio running on the second monitor and the text has serve chroma distortion, and then I change monitor setting to just that monitor and the text is correct. and back and forth. General glitches on apps when resizing, frames of windows appear for a second.57Views0likes3CommentsDelivery Optimisation No longer working
Delivery Optimisation is not working as intended, I have set the relevant limits within the settings however all downloads that happen always exceed what I have set. This causes a real issue as we don't have the best internet and it completely choles the entire household of any internet to try and feed the download. Is there any fix for this, is this a bug, it used to work perfectly fine? I have tried all the tips to fix but to no avail, task manager clearly shows all the internet being used.50Views2likes1CommentWindows update (KB5068164) throws an error WINDOWS 10!
Hello everyone! Around October this year I tried updating my PC which resulted in an error I haven't encountered before (screenshots will be uploaded), so I tried google-ing the error and try to understand more about it. Information on the internet suggested that I have a problem with my WinRE (windows recovery environment), so as someone might guess I tried fixing it. I quickly discovered that my WinRE is not even turned on which lead to an ever bigger discovery - my windows recovery partition was either too small or corrupted. It turned out to be the first one (too small). Internet pages like https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/kb5068164-windows-recovery-environment-update-for-windows-10-version-21h2-and-22h2-october-14-2025-8fdc399d-0ac1-4022-81bd-7127e91933ec recommended rebuilding it while making it even bigger than before so you have space for the update which is exactly what I did. There was a link with instructions of course, so https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/kb5028997-instructions-to-manually-resize-your-partition-to-install-the-winre-update-400faa27-9343-461c-ada9-24c8229763bf it is. Well, it did not work. After that I tried solutions from other articles which only made me lose my time on this. My last hope was to install this specific update from the Windows update catalog, however when returning to the first mentioned page (https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/kb5068164-windows-recovery-environment-update-for-windows-10-version-21h2-and-22h2-october-14-2025-8fdc399d-0ac1-4022-81bd-7127e91933ec) I saw that the update is registered only in Windows Update service and specifically there. Which means there is no other way to install it other than to just click update in settings. If anyone has had this problem and fixed it somehow, please don't mind sharing your way of dealing with it. People who have not experienced it, but think they might help, everything is greatly appreciated!Solved111Views0likes2CommentsIntel UHD iGPU - BSOD - igdkmd64.sys
Yesterday I’ve experienced an issue with my laptop – 15IRX10 – Lenovo LOQ – intel 13650HX, 24 Gb ram and Nvidia 5070. The issue is like this – my intel UHD integrated iGPU its experiencing BSOD before entering in windows screen - the screen is trying to acces the log on screen but cannot do it and in the end i get this error code - Fix VIDEO_TDR_FAILURE igdkmd64.sys). I’ve tried using DDU , do a clean install of drivers ( the latest one, but also some older ones ) but still the problem is there. Also after the drivers are installed in windows device manager is showing that the IGPU is working properly – so I can exclude the fact that is a hardware issue.I also booted up into SAFE Mode using the iGPU and everything is fine ( no issues) When I deactivate the iGPU (running only the RTX 5070) everything is fine, laptop is booting up, going to windows normally without any issues. I’m suspecting this issue is due to a windows update but i cannot realise which one is the faulty one. Before yesterday when this issue happened everything was ok. If someone has any solution, how can I use my iGPU please share it. Thank you29Views0likes1CommentWindows 11 24H2+ - Dismal SMB performance with 3rd Party Storage
Ever since we have upgraded our machines to 24H2 and 25H2 respectively, we've been seeing very poor SMB performance while reading, saving and copying to both of our Isilon storage clusters when over the WAN. LAN transfers are probably affected, but masked due to low latency. We've engaged Dell support, and they have done a deep dive into the storage logs and have determined that it's either a 24/25H2 thing, or something in the middle network-wise. Older versions of Windows 11 have great SMB performance. When transferring files to Windows Servers of any version, performance is great. We've also noticed that newer Server 2025 instances have the same issue when copying files to the Isilon. Seems like that particular code base of Windows is having issues with 3rd party storage. We've even downgraded SMB dialect to 2.1 and made a host of changes client-side to SMB settings... still seeing the same result. Anyone else experiencing this???68Views0likes1Comment2fa (two factor authentication) not appearing when logging into website

I have already updated my system, tried updating my graphics driver, and clearing the font cache, but the problem persists. I would appreciate the help!19Views0likes1CommentRegarding Windows 11 & The Windows 11 Start Menu
Good evening Microsoft Community, My name is John Scott, and I work within technology and IT Support industry. I also like doing technology as a hobby as well. With that being said I wanted to get right into this discussion. I am going to say the following about Windows 11 that I always been saying for over a year. The "start menu". I submitted various feedback and monthly and yearly updates about how bad the start menu is within the Feeback Hub on Microsoft but there is only one or two Microsoft Official Responses... I am going to say my feedback on this discussion because I know I am not the only one with this feedback comment. Microsoft when Windows 10 came out it was not perfect but it also not as bad until final builds came to light. The start menu on Windows 10 was resizable; it had live tiles but also the feature to turn off live tiles and resize the applications and size on the start menu. It was very simple and easy to use. It had the start menu of Windows 7 & Windows 8 merged together into one. Windows 10 was a wonderful OS. I understand the world is moving into AI, but you could have implemented AI on Windows 10 keep things the same and kept pushing updates. No, you did the exact opposite made a whole new OS and called it Windows 11. The pros of Windows 11 I love the taskbar UI, I like the File Explorer it can be cleaned up a bit, but it is not as bad. Now going to the "Start Menu" I will say the same thing in my feedback hub on the discussions thread on here. The Start Menu Takes up too much almost half the size of my screen which is an '27 monitor curved screen, it feels bulky, I can't customize it to the way Windows 10 was. I know you can say download a third-party application to get the Windows 10 Start Menu and go through hoops that is not an option for me. I understand change but understand what user preferences I think the voices of the users, community, everyone that makes Microsoft and Windows together is the "Community & The outreach of Support that hold Microsoft Together" I hope that this feedback and support reach the Microsoft and Microsoft Community together to understand the point of view that others including myself that are saying about Windows 11 with its features and Start Menu. Thank you. -Regards, John Windows 11 John's Desktop Start Menu (25H2)80Views0likes1Comment
