This is what I see in the "Update section" of settings. I was once a windows insider but have now left it. some general info about my pc: ----------------- ------------------ System Information ------------------ Time of this report: 8/15/2021, 21:09:01 Machine name: DESKTOP-Q08CA2B Machine Id: {CB3677A8-BA67-4B91-B56F-BCE97D5B3CD2} Operating System: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit (10.0, Build 19042) (19041.vb_release.191206-1406) Language: English (Regional Setting: English) System Manufacturer: Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd. No one seems to know what the source of my issue is, and I'm completely irritated by EVERYONE because NO ONE understands me. I have issues that are branching out to other aspects and I don't know what the root cause is, or where to start because all of the Microsoft agents are saying something different. Outline: When trying to "Create a system image" I'm getting the following error: ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I have found 2 temporary solutions: Solution 1: Delete the "reparse point" (see attached file labeled "Delete Reparse Point" for full details) 1. Open the Command Prompt (cmd) 2. Type: DIR /AL /S 3. Locate the "reparse point" (reparse folder) in the directory NOTE: The reparse point = <JUNCTION> = Content.IE5 = IE (folder(s)) 4. Delete the “reparse point” 5. Take Ownership of the "Windows folder" 6. “Deny” the SYSTEM “Full Control” of the "Windows folder" NOTE: Alternatively "Remove" the "SYSTEM" from the list of "users". This will prevent the "SYSTEM" from automatically recreating the "reparse point" 7. RESTART DEVICE ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Solution 2: Uninstall Windows Updates (see attached file labeled "Uninstall Windows Updates" 1. Open the "Control Panel" 2. Click "Programs" 3. Click "View installed updates" 4. Click on the most recent "Windows Update" 5. Click "Uninstall" 6. Click "Yes" 7. Click "Restart Now" By following one of the above solutions will resolve the error code: 0x80070001 temporarily. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- According the level 2 Microsoft Windows Tech Support agent the reason that I'm having this issue is because I'm "ENROLLED" in the "Windows Insider Program". Since my device says that I'm enrolled in the Windows Insider Program, when I click the "Check for Updates"in my Windows settings > Updates & Security, Windows "Pre-released Updates" are being installed on my OS. Thus, the pre-released updates are possibly not compatible or interferring with Windows detecing my external drive when I attempt to create a system image resulting with the error code: 0x80070001. So my creating a system image issue is branching into my enrollment in the Windows Insider Program. However, its get more complicated from here. • I have ONLY setup my laptop using my microsoft account when I purchased my device • I DID NOT "ENROLL" in the "Windows Insider Program" • My device's "Motherboard" & "SSD DRIVE" have been replaced 4 times • After my hardware was replaced I ONLY setup my device using a "LOCAL ACCOUNT" • I DID NOT "ENROLL" in the "Windows Insider Program" **YET FOR SOME REASON I'M ENROLLED IN THE WINDOWS INSIDER PROGRAM Either way I tried to leave the Windows Insider Program by login into my microsoft account online and it says that my email address is not registered as a Windows Insider. (https://insider.windows.com/en-us/leave-program) So to recap: • Since my device is "ENROLLED" in the "Windows Insider Program", pre-released Windows Updates are being installed on my OS • The pre-released Windows Updates are causing me to receive the error code: 0x80070001 when I attempt to create a system image • I NEVER "ENROLLED" in the "Windows Insider Program" when I setup my device with my microsoft account • My device's "Motherboard" & "SSD DRIVE" have been replaced 4 times • When my hardware was replace I ONLY setup my device using a LOCAL ACCOUNT • I NEVER "ENROLLED" in the "Windows Insider Program" after my hardware was replaced • According to the https://insider.windows.com/en-us/leave-program website my email is NOT REGISTERED as a "Windows Insider" ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- So I need to know: 1) What do I have to do so that I DON'T receive the error code: 0x80070001 when attempting to create a system image? 2) If the reason for the error code: 0x80070001 is due to the pre-released Windows Updates by my device being enrolled in the Windows Insider Program, how do I "Leave Windows Insider" if my email is NOT ENROLLED as a Windows Insider?1.5KViews1like3Commentsfallas en teclado a,z,q1,| y demas hacia la izquierda, por actualizar windows update

I've used windows 10 bootable pendrive to boot in c drive in my dell laptop. I've formatted the C drive after that when I've install windows it was not able to install in C drive, finds some solution from internet that when I convert MBR file to GPT file windows will install. So l have used command prompt to convert c drive. But it was denied and so I have used clear option in command prompt. Due to this my d and e drive accidentally clear. I've lost all data for d and e drive which I've stored almost 10 years. After that I want to recover my data therefore I've given my laptop to expert who have installed windows 10 in C drive. After that they recovered data by using some recovery tools. By the recovery tool they provide data in separate folder as jpg file, mp4 file, doc file etc. but the file name was changed and I've not got recovered data as my folder and file name structure which was as before installing windows. When they installed windows on my system only C drive is there after that they allocated one more drive i.e. D drive. Before installing windows I've 3 drive in my system i.e. c,d and e. After formatting and reinstalled windows it shows 2 drive i.e. c and d. I have also used data recovery tools with help of YouTube video. After scanning full drive by recovery tool, it shows one drive with same folder name structure. But still one drive was missing. I am sharing image which I have taken after data recovery tools. Now my question is that after these happened to my system can I recover my full data from system which I've lost with same folder ne structure. Please suggest me the solution for data recovery It will help me like life saving.2.2KViews1like4CommentsWindows Update will not install KB5013942 Version 21H2

It starts to install then i receive the Message: "We couldn't complete the Updates undoing changes, don't switch off your Computer. This update slows my computer down as it downloads and will not install day in and day out? The other updates have been fine except this? Does anyone know why this happens?4.5KViews1like8Comments
