availability
16 TopicsTeams status does not reflect availability
All calendar entries are visible within the Teams calendar, but unfortunately the Teams status does not reflect availability (free/busy status). I thought if there is an appointment in my Outlook/exchange the Teams status changes reflecting the availability?55KViews2likes11CommentsAllow user to over ride automatic status
Do not show “away” automatically. Allow the user to either set the idle time length or over-ride it and set their status to available. Every job does not entail someone typing on a computer all day. A person can be available and next to the machine but not actively using it. Some have to use multiple machines for security purposes. Just because you are not using a particular machine does not mean you are either “away” or “unavailable.” Many workers don’t have single task jobs. The application needs to be applicable to more than “cube farm” environments. Additionally, there’s a phone app. Of what use is the phone app for mobile use if a person is set to “Away” or “unavailable” automatically... when they are available BECAUSE of the phone app. Availability while “Away” is the singular purpose of the phone app. Basing a persons availability or access to them off one metric is impossible. Let the user override the automation when it is applicable.1.2KViews0likes1CommentStaff Availability
Ok so i have 5 staff available to book, i have services set up at 1 hour sessions with a 30 minute buffer after the session. So if a staffs hours are 9-5 it should show available slots as 9:00 10:30 12:00 13:30 and 15:00.... sometimes it does this but sometimes it shows say 2 or 3 of these not all 5 ? sometimes it makes up randoms like 12:30 or 14:30... when they're outlook Calendar is completely free ?? Also some of the staff work different hours so have different slots available.. if you select ANYONE instead of specific staff it doesn't show the times all 5 people have ? just a seemingly random selection ? of their times ? Is this how reliable it is and i need a new system ? or am i doing something blatantly wrong in how I've set it all up ?952Views0likes0CommentsCloned booking page and availability update?
Hi there, I created a booking page used to reserve services at an event and have cloned it to use for the next event. The services are only available during a specific multi-day timeframe with daily hours, so I had, in the past, set the availability both in the default scheduling policy and within the service itself (including "not bookable" dates that bookended the event week, and bookable "availability during these dates" with the custom hours for the event week). However, the dates are not showing as available on the new published booking page. I've combed through the staff availability, services, and booking page itself - I can't figure out what I need to change to make the event dates bookable on the public side. This was my problem with the last booking page - it took me forever to figure out how to "ungrey" the open dates, and now I'm missing something with this one again. Any suggestions?800Views0likes0CommentsMicrosoft Bookings Ignoring Staff Time Off for availability
We have noticed that the availability on the Booking Page is not factoring in Time Off on a staff members calendar (in Bookings). This is causing appointments to be booked during time someone is not available. We have ~18k Appointments in the system over the past 3 years and are also finding Bookings to be very sluggish Here is the Calendar showing that time is blocked off Here is the Service Details Here is the Booking Page Availability Lastly here is the Staff Hours732Views0likes0CommentsSaving error - Bookings
I am getting this error message when attempting to save and publish after adding a new date to my availability in Bookings: An internal server error occurred. The operation failed. I have tried to use the new version of Bookings, the old, different browsers, etc. but nothing works to save the new date.652Views0likes0CommentsStaff booked but showing free in Outlook
Hi, Not sure if this is the expected behaviour or a new bug because we have been using the service for few months and this is the first time someone is reporting that behaviour. When someone is doing a new booking, everything is working OK except the fact that the new "booking" meeting in the Staff's calendar is created with avaibility set to "free" Now if we go back to Booking, that's ok because we cannot book the same staff again for that period of time BUT in Outlook , we can still book a meeting with that staff member because he appears free Thanks Kev438Views0likes0Comments
