Hello, everyone. When folks in our organization are at the "choose your audio and video settings for.." screen when joining a Teams Meeting in the desktop app, there are three "other join options" at the bottom of the screen. It used to be that when we selected the join by phone option, Teams would display both dial-in meeting info and the option for the meeting to call out to your phone. When selecting "phone audio" our users receive one of two errors: "Your speakers aren't working" OR "Phone audio isn't available unmute your mic for meeting audio." We had to recently disable "dial-out from meetings" on all users with an audio conference license due to outbound minutes issues (Teams Admin> Users> open user> Account/Audio Conferencing> Edit> Dial-out from meetings> Don't allow) but this shouldn't prevent us from seeing the dial-in info, correct? I turned this option back on for another user but the issue persists so I think not. If you've joined the meeting but want to see the dial-in info, we see a message that says "info pane is disabled by policies." This appears to be a known issue from 2017 with no resolution. Meeting Info panel is not showing up intermittently. Meeting Info panel may not show in Teams client when users are trying to look up for conference bridge phone numbers or conference ID. Look at meeting details or Outlook calendar to view conference bridge phone numbers or conference ID. 9/25/2017 Its cumbersome to have users go back to their Outlook invite to view the dial-in info. Its also cumbersome to leave the meeting and select the meeting info option to then view the info. So looping back to the original question, any idea why we're receiving these error messages when selecting the "phone audio" option? Why is the option here in the first place?Solved107KViews0likes9CommentsSound from teams is distorted. Distortion disappears when sound from other app plays.
I am in a teams meeting. Poeples voices are very distorted and messy, the audio quality is bad. I tried other apps and what happens is when I play a sound from other app then the audio from teams suddenly gets good and distortion disappears. It is super weird and evident. I keep pausing and restarting a youtube video and instantly I turn it on - the audio from teams gets good. Then when I stop the yt video in few seconds distortion in teams comes back. I am now watching video on youtube called "60 minutes of silence (1 hour)" and it solves the problem partialy.11KViews0likes0CommentsMake use of the audio stream(s) in a Teams (video) meeting
Hi!, Is there a way to make use of the (individual) audio stream(s) during a Teams (video) meeting? Maybe with a connector or webhook? (in a created app in App Studio?) I would like to analyse the (individual) audio and sent information back to the (individual) user! Hope someone could share some info/thoughts! greetings JP2.1KViews0likes1CommentEmpty conference bridges list

Hello everyone, I have looked online quite extensively for anything to answer my question, or find someone else who found themselves in my position, and what they did. I have a customer who has fully adopted Teams. They use Call in Audio conferencing numbers for their Teams meetings regularly. They want to change these Audio conferencing numbers to a toll free number or numbers. So I could simply add a toll-free conference bridge number, no problem. The problem is this organization is big, and they want to bill the Toll free minutes to different cost centers. So all of the minutes HR uses, go against HR's budget, same for Finance, operations,. etc etc. More challenging, some people may initiate Teams meetings and there for incur cost for different cost centers depending on the meeting. How are other organizations tracking, and allocating Teams Audio conferencing costs? As far as I can tell all we get is one big CSV with all billable calls, and very little detail to properly classify the call, and beyond that, it should not be up to some individual to review every single call per month, ask the person who initiated the meeting which coster center is fell under, and bill it out accordingly to different departments, that's insanely inefficient. One thought I had was use 1 toll free number per cost center, and then just sort the CSV by confeence number, and boom you have your data, but there is no way for the Meeting Initiator to choose which Audio Conference number appears by default on their meeting invite, and that wont stop someone from simply clicking on the list of available numbers and choosing one designated to a different cost center to access the meeting, which would completely eliminate any data integrity. I cant be the only person in this boat, can anyone point me in the right direction?1.6KViews0likes1CommentAudio Conference with Microsoft 365 Personal Subscription
I use a Microsoft 365 Personal subscription that includes TEAMS. Is it possible to add audio conference phone numbers with this version? Sometimes participants in my TEAMS meetings only have access to landline phones and therefore need an actual phone number and code to join as audio only participants. thanks.834Views0likes1Comment
