The next evolution of Copilot is here: Customers increasingly want AI to take on complex work, build solutions, and automate business processes—with the context, governance, and commercial flexibility to scale across their organizations. That's why we're introducing the new Copilot. The connected experience now combines Home, where Chat and Cowork come together with the full power of Office; Code, which extends solution-building to every knowledge worker; and Autopilot, a persistent, proactive, and personal agent hosted in the cloud. For partners, this next era of Copilot expands the opportunity to turn innovation into business outcomes by connecting Copilot to customer data, workflows, systems, and operating models—then deploying, governing, and optimizing AI securely at scale. Read the blog post for the complete announcement and partner opportunity. Business Applications roadmap content has moved to the AI at Work roadmap: Roadmap content for Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and Dataverse has moved to the AI at Work roadmap, creating a single destination for Microsoft 365, Microsoft 365 Copilot, agents, and Business Applications updates. Microsoft is also shifting from twice-yearly release wave announcements to continuous roadmap communications, and the Release Planner will retire by November 15, 2026. Update your references and point customers to the AI at Work roadmap for future updates. Review the Release Communications MCP Server documentation to access roadmap data at no cost. Show customers why Microsoft 365 Copilot is the AI built for work: Move customers beyond AI experimentation with a unified platform for building, orchestrating, and governing agents and workflows across Microsoft 365 and business applications. By connecting Microsoft Copilot Studio, the reimagined Copilot app experience, and next-generation business applications into a single story, you can demonstrate how organizations put AI to work with enterprise-grade governance, cost management, and organizational intelligence that scales across business processes. Review the pitch deck for more details. Guide every Copilot in 30 trial with a personalized 30-day success plan: Based on customer inputs, the Copilot Success Planner delivers tailored scenarios, prompts, and role-relevant guidance across Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Microsoft 365 apps, and agents. With this structured experience, users can experience Copilot in the flow of their work, identify valuable use cases, and capture feedback throughout the trial. Available with no sign-in required, the planner provides a scalable way to drive engagement and support more informed conversion conversations. Simplify Dynamics 365 Business Central version upgrades with the new license key: Effective October 1, 2026, new on-premises releases of Dynamics 365 Business Central use a single forward-compatible "28+" license key instead of version-specific keys. This change simplifies license management across future releases while maintaining version compatibility controls for upgrades. As customers adopt new Business Central versions, ensure they download a refreshed 28+ license key before upgrading to unlock the latest features and avoid compatibility warnings. Turn Copilot interest into hands-on customer engagement: Use the ready-to-deliver Microsoft 365 Copilot + Agents SMB Guided Experience to show customers how Copilot Chat, Microsoft 365 Copilot, and agents fit into everyday business workflows. Choose a hands-on or facilitator-led format to guide trials, drive adoption, and demonstrate business value.
