4 TopicsShared mailbox in Secondary Domain creates user with Primary Domain
Hi, We have multiple domains in a single Office 365 tenant: PrimaryDomain.com (Default domain in O365 Admin Portal => Setup => Domains) domain2.com domain3.com Whenever, I create a shared mailbox or user in a secondary domain, it automatically creates a username/alias with PrimaryDomain.com. Examples of the issue (current): When a shared mailbox info@domain2.com is created, info@PrimaryDomain.com becomes its alias. And also, what's worse is that info@PrimaryDomain.com becomes a user in Users => Active Users tab of Office 365 Admin Portal and info@domain2.com is nowhere to be seen in the Users tab (no even as an alias). When a user mailbox is name@domain2.com is created, name@PrimaryDomain.com becomes its alias. What we want: When a shared mailbox info@domain2.com is created, info@domain2.com is the only alias. And also, info@domain2.com is a user in Users => Active Users tab of Office 365 Admin Portal. When a user mailbox is name@domain2.com is created, name@domain2.com is the only alias. How can this issue be resolved? Thanks,8.1KViews1like7CommentsMeeting Limitations
Hello, I have a couple of questions regarding meetings in Skype for Business. 1. What actually happens when your meeting exceeds 250 participants when you are using Skype Online? I have not been able to locate what happens anywhere. 2. We recently conducted a meeting where the participants number in the 260-ish range including dial-ins using PSTN, and people using the SfB desktop app. When we look at the Organizers profile, we see two distinct meetings were created for the SAME meeting. See the attachment for a visual of what I am talking. We checked invites of of people who appeared in the different groups, and each had the same link that they clicked on to join the meeting. What would cause this? If you have seen this before and know what causes this or have any advice at all, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!986Views0likes2CommentsQuestion about settings for Sync button and modern app authentication
Hi guys I have two questions about the settings which is possible to configure over ODFB admin portal: Setting: Sync > Checkbox "Show the Sync button on the OneDrive website" Question: What is the sense behind this option? Let's say I will uncheck this option and the Sync button will get hidden. So the use will not be able to start local synchronization over web. OK But if he still would like, he could (even this button is hidden) do the synchronization by downloading the client and enter his credentials. Provided of course, that the local synchronization if allowed. --------- Setting: Device access > allow access from apps that don't use modern authentication Question: This is more a general quesiton. So which apps could have access? Do you have some examples? Is there also an store with apps which could be integrated in Office 365 or OneDrive For Business? I'm asking this quesiton because I have never seen apps like that. Maybe you have some examples. Thanks in advance.Solved2.1KViews0likes4Comments
