I have previously had integration created between a Key Resolved to Power BI, but when I subsequently needed to change I discovered that the overview is now displayed with either no text, or that the text is in white with a white background. When I choose a random line, I get to move on and only then do I see which report I have a choice. This change has occurred recently. Does anyone know what this is from. Anyone else who has discovered this. The picture below illustrates the problem606Views0likes5CommentsChanged Planning year and lost our OKR's
Hey Everyone, Trying to figure out a solution here. I have recently become the Viva Goals admin (we only have viva goals) at our organization. We are rolling out OKR's to manage objectives for management in IT. On of the departments in IT was doing a POC with Viva Goals last year, and despite our actual planning year starting in April, they didn't realize that the planning year setting let you set it so they left it at January created custom time ranges for our planning year. This year we decided to change the planning year setting for full roll out - so I went ahead and made this change. Unfortunately, when I made this change, we are now unable to find last year's OKR's. Can you offer any suggestions for how we might recover them? They're mostly closed out, but the group wants to do a retrospective next week.263Views1like1CommentViva Goals: Analytics Drilldown no longer working
Last week when I clicked on the 'analytics' tab for a team I could toggle the "drilldown" option and see all of the sub-teams adoption and engagement. This week it's no longer working. When I select this option I only see the parent team. Has anyone else experienced this? Is this a bug caused by developers or was this done to eliminate this visibility? Thanks!421Views1like6CommentsViva Goals Power BI Integration Errors
My organization has several key results with Power BI connections that have integration errors. These key results use integration connections and are connected to Power BI reports that are behaving as expected for other key results. Viva Goals gives me an error message that it could not find the file. The issue appears to happen randomly. Has anyone else encountered this issue?52Views0likes0CommentsBulk import of Excel template of OKRs into Viva Goals
In Viva Goals, it states that you can bulk import OKR's using an Excel template that downloads. You cannot make any changes to the template (no renaming or moving columns etc.), just add data. Which I did, but it keeps failing, but it doesn't tell me why it fails or how to fix it. I even added data that was supposed to be "optional". I also ensured that I have the Excel Integrations downloaded. I confirmed how the file format was saved. Could it be that in the Excel template, the Item Type sheet (Objective, Key Result, Project) has different naming properties then what is showing in the trial version that I am using? Under the Admin Dashboard > Custom Terminology, it reads, OKR, Objective, Key Results and Initiative. Could this effect my import? Any help would be much appreciated. Using the OKR template would be very beneficial. Thank you.1KViews0likes2CommentsProject For the Web Connector - PWA?
Hi, I'm trying to connect the tasks from my initiatives automatically using the Project For the Web Connector. Does anyone know if I can use the same connector to connect to my PWA (Project Web App) instance? At this time, some of our projects in my organization are managed via PWA. So I wonder if there is an environment permission in PWA to be allowed to I can select in the connector? I can see all my projects from Project Online just fine, just the ones hosted in PWA are missing. If there is another channel where I can ask this question or get support, please let me know.47Views0likes0CommentsViva Goals

Hi Viva Goals community, I have a question related to closing and scoring OKRs. When I go to close an Objective (blue bullseye icon) or Key Result (purple speedometer), I am given the option to adjust the score if desired. However, when I go to close an Initiative (green calendar), the Close dialogue box does not have the Score line that allows me to adjust the score - I am forced to take the score that is auto-calculated by Viva Goals. 1) Can people confirm that this is the case for them as well? 2) If this is indeed the case, can anyone from Microsoft or otherwise help me understand why the score adjustment feature is not available on Initiatives? 3) Is there any plan to change this for Initiatives in the future? Thanks everyone! Evan566Views0likes5CommentsInitiatives have to keep same metric format as Key Results
Hi everyone, is it bug or feature that Key Results aligned to Objective can have mixed format of metric while Initiatives underneath can't? Probably hard to understand, so let's explain it like this: Objectives' Outcome is always set as percentage of completion Key results' Metric may be set as numeric, percentage, even currency and still may contribute to Objective above Initiative has to keep same metric format as Key results otherwise contribution is not available to set Example: KR set as reach 2 (number), Initiatives set with milestones as percentage completed, "Manage contributions" dialog doesn't allow to choose some of those Initiatives as they have no metric or wrong metric format. Is that by reason and could I understand why? It is possible to combine KRs contributing to Os but why not Is to KR?158Views0likes1Comment
