Teams Phone System
9 TopicsHow can we setup Automated Phone Call Recording and Transcribing for Call Queues?
Hi, we recently migrated to the Teams Phone System, but I am trying to figure out how to automatically record and transcribe a specific call queue (that is easily accessible for a separate user to review). I thought that this would be possible but can only see a Record/Transcribe feature that you need to manually select in a Phone Call. I did find a similar post from 2019 but it was not helpful in that it only said it is not possible and Microsoft Teams do not have this feature on their roadmap. Fast forward 4 years and I would have thought that this feature would be pretty standard. We are a small non-profit organization so do not need a fancy enterprise "compliancy" solution - we just need it for training/review purposes for our Reception Queue. Dear all Since Update to Teams 1.6.00.18681, starting a call from Outlook contact card to a phone number is no longer working. Presence is visible, which indicates Teams Presence Plugin, which is handling these requests, is in general working. Making calls to a SIP address of a contact (IM address) is still working, only calls to phone numbers are broken. After clicking to link with phone number under "Work phone" nothing happens. This worked before. User is fully enabled for Teams Telephony. Does someone else mentioned this issue and found a solution to make it work again? using direct routing with teams phone system ... noticed when a teams client dials out to external pstn number it pretty much straightaway sends calling party the ring back tone ... so there could be 2-3 ring back tones on the calling end (approx. 4-5 secs.) before the called party eventually receives the first ringing tone .. is there a way to induce a delay in that initial ring back tone Teams phone system sends to the Teams client ? i just don't want to start giving ringback tone straight away when 180 ringing from itsp is not received for another good 3-4 seconds. thanks.746Views0likes0CommentsCan't search or call phone numbers
With the new Teams Preview edition it's no longer possible to type a Contact's name (above the dial pad on the Calls screen) and call one of their other phone numbers (mobile, work, home). It now only allows you to call the contact directly via Teams instead of displaying all the numbers for the contact. The old version still allows you to choose any number attached to their contact card before calling. Any suggestions or fixes for this coming?SolvedTeams Video call automatically
Good morning folks, Any of you are aware of it's possible to: - Force a Teams phone user (Yealink VP59 for example) to only start "video calls with the webcam already activated"? On those devices, the user is obligated to press the webcam button. - Auto-respond to a call without pressing any button. Thanks for your time. We've been using a Teams call flow for a rotating oncall setup. Once a week we login and change the External number the call flow is pointed at the cell of the person on call for that week. This week after months of it working fine, it will not accept any external phone number. We get the error "The input number is incorrect" when we try to update it. Is anyone else experiencing this?4.3KViews1like15CommentsPhone number management
Hi Everyone, I am interested to hear what others are doing to manage/record their DID usage for Teams. We are close to migrating to Teams from SfB 2015. We currently keep record of all our DIDs via Excel. We have a sheet for each site location that contains a DID Range, individual DIDs and who/ if they are assigned, as well as some other notes about the number. For example if its a shared account line, or open area line, etc... Excel has been working out but was wondering if there was other options. First thing that comes to mind is Power BI but I don't have much experience with that. Thanks! Ian...Help for Enterprise PBX Tech Moving to Teams Phone System
I have worked years in both Voice and IT. I am proficient in MS Servers and Desktops, Cisco Routers and Switches and Traditional Telephony / PBX Dial Plan and Call Routing Architecture...that architecture tends to be similar between all tradtional PBXs from AVAYA, Fujitsu, Nortel, etc... Are there any documents, guides or videos that explain MS Teams Phone System Architecture from the traditional Telephony / PBX point of view?773Views0likes0Comments
