We've deployed a number of Yealink MP56 headsets and cannot get Outlook contacts to sync. We've attempted just about everything to force a sync, but it appears as though the handsets only display contacts in the Speed Dial list from the desktop client. Has anyone come across a fix for this, or is it just a Teams bug? Microsoft Teams desktop client syncs great, however, those contacts don't sync on the handset.26KViews1like21CommentsHelp getting outlook calendar and teams calendar to sync
Dear all, My new institution has a webmail based email service, and they also have access to Office 365 including Teams. I have managed, after quite the ordeal, to add my webmail email address to the Outlook desktop app for windows 10 (as far as I understand, this linking cannot be done for the web-based outlook anymore). I can now manage my webmail email address through the Outlook app. My Teams account is registered with the same email address, however I cannot get the Outlook calendar to sync with the teams calendar. For example, I can create a Teams meeting in teams, but this one won't appear in my Outlook calendar, and I can create a Teams meeting with the Teams-add-in from Outlook, but it won't appear in my Teams calendar. What am I missing here? Just for completeness, I've been creating meetings with only me as an attendant, for testing. EDIT: I forgot to mention that my web-based Outlook calendar does sync with my Teams calendar. That is, if I create a meeting in the web-based Outlook calendar it does appear in my Teams calendar, and viceversa works also. Thanks in advance.Solved13KViews1like3CommentsTeams Desktop App still not showing changes done in AD Azure 4 days later
We made change to Employees in Azure (Titles, numbers, sometimes a name) but those changes STILL have not been reflected in the Teams Desktop App, which all 130 of our Employees use. The changes are showing in Azure, Teams Admin Centre, Teams Mobile, Teams on Browser, Admin Centre, literally everywhere except for the Teams Desktop App. It's been 4 days. People have rebooted, same issue. I even uninstalled my Teams app 2 days ago, only 1/10 show a change, rest haven't. We use the Desktop app to CALL people so if their numbers are not updated, we can't call them (search > contacts > call). Also, we have many, many meetings in Teams so if their titles are not showing correctly, it looks very unprofessional. Microsoft support told me it takes 72 hours, then they said it was "72 business hours which means 9 business days" then they said we have to reinstalled Teams on all 130 laptops, then they said it was because of COVID. Then they said it's not a big deal use the browser version. If the desktop app is caching somehow, we need a way to FORCE a recache as we cannot possibly redeploy Teams every time we have updates or promotions.3KViews0likes6CommentsTeams Files Sync button only available on MacOS, not Windows
The Sync button is only available on our Macs (desktop app and Chrome). Our Windows computer do not have the Sync button (desktop app and Chrome). Teams app versions listed below. Has anyone else seen this behavior? Any ideas on how to resolve this for our Windows users would be helpful. Mac Teams Desktop App Version 1.3.00.18164 (sync was there in version 1.3.00.362) Windows Teams Desktop App Version 1.3.00.19173 (64-bit) Windows 10 (several versions tested), in and out of our AD domainSolved3.3KViews0likes4CommentsTeams calendar not syncing with exchange on-prem calendar
Hello, I have a problem with the calendar sync between exchange online/Teams for a customer. I configured Azure AD Connect with the hybrid option and users are synced to the cloud and licensed with O365 E3. I setup exchange hybrid on an exchange server 2016 CU11 with the new version of the Hybrid Wizard, ending with the OAuth error after the first run. So I configured OAuth manually with the docs.microsoft manual and calendar sync was working, for 1 day. At the next day it wasn't working and I couldn't get it running again since then, 3 weeks ago. I checked all OAuth config elements, reastablished them individually, startet the Hybrid Wizrad several times, always ending with the OAuth error. I tested with teh test-oauthconnectivity cmdlet in both directions which ends always successfull, restarted the server and services several times, checked the availability service and with the remote connectivity analyzer for free/busy and everything was successful but sync is still not working again. Can someone help me with this issue or has tipps to chekc further? Kind Regards Julian26KViews0likes13Comments
