Edge sync with Google Account
Hello! So, I've been using Chrome for like 10 years, and now I've heard about Edge from a friend, and I wanted to switch browsers. But all my passwords, bookmarks and history stuff are synced with my google account. I also have an android phone, which came with Chrome and Google apps, and I like the fact that Google from desktop brings me all the passwords and others on my phone. The question is if I can sync all Edge things in my google account, to keep them present everywhere. It is pretty hard to me to break up with all the google services, since I'm using Gmail, Google Drive, Youtube and others, and bing gives me poor searching results in romanian, comparing to google. Sorry if the whole thing sounded like an ad for google, but I'm wondering if I can sync edge with a google account. Peace!Restoring extensions and the invenient experience.
Hello Everyone! How are you? You've all gone through or will go through the experience of launching a Chromium-based browser at some point (especially Edge in this case)And see that when you reinstall your extensions through the automatic process (importing from your browser or your account) You're faced with THOUSANDS of extensions in your browser, with settings for extensions or welcome or anything like that! This isn't really a problem, but it can be really inconvenient sometimes when you're typing a text or looking for something and suddenly you're moved to a new tab or something. The question is: Why not just put a floating bubble under the extensions icon warning you that "Hey you have new extensions, click here and configure it!" This could be a great idea and would aid in a smoother and smoother experience that is less invasive and clearer! But let me know, what do you think of it?
Sync Favorites in Edge Chromium
Hello There was a problem syncing favorites in Edge (105.0.1343.42): There are 4 devices using the same Microsoft account to sync. For some time now, synchronization between devices has partially stopped working. It is noticed that one part of the favorites is synchronized between one pair of devices, another part is synchronized between the second pair. Since updating to Microsoft EdgeVersion 81.0.416.53 for macOS, my Office 365 account has been permanentlylogged out of the browser. When I sign in, I receive a message prompt that reads: "A server error occurred. [2600]" Hoping there is a fix underway. Ciao for now, Marcus
“Save all tabs to favorites” on iOS?
I’ve tried ‘press-holding’ on almost every UI element and checking every menu I could think of, but I can’t figure out how to “Save all tabs to favorites” on the iOS version of Edge. (Searching online for a dozen minutes didn’t turn up anything promising, either.) Am I missing something obvious, or has this perhaps not yet been implemented yet? (I can’t imagine syncing favorites would have came before this basic feature)
