Stream

Hi, I only received the alert about Stream Classic last week. I always thought it was part of the O365 suite and not related to SharePoint. Now it has been renamed Stream (SharePoint Online) My query is now that the deadline has passed, is there anyway to retrieve video uploads from the classic version?Solved1.2KViews0likes4CommentsIntranet Videos - Where to upload?
I'm building a Sharepoint intranet for training videos and I'm curious as to the thoughts MS has about how to best implement videos. I could do Channels in Stream and then embed them in my Sharepoint pages. That would get me auto-transcripts, but I don't see much more value for the added complexities and management of Stream. My thought is to upload the video files directly to logical folder structure in the relevant Sharepoint Site and just go from there. Thoughts? What does Stream offer? What is the intended purpose of Stream?Solved2.1KViews0likes5CommentsStream doesn't work in iOS Mobile App (both current and vnext beta)
Not sure if this is a bug in Stream or in the SharePoint Mobile app, but I'll post it here. Stream doesn't work properly in the iOS SharePoint app when adding a video with the Stream Web Part on a modern page. First, you get prompted to login again. And after entering credentials, it still doesn't work to play the video. It just keeps loading with the animated stream logo in the background. The behaviour is the same both for the currently released iOS app and the beta of the new version that is to be released soon. Does anyone know if this is a known bug that MS is currently working on?3.1KViews0likes4CommentsWhat is the best approach to upload videos inside SharePoint modern pages
I have a new requirement for one of our customers, is that their managers want to record videos and show them inside SharePoint modern pages. so what is the best approach to do so? i read about MS Stream & Office 365 videos, but i have these questions:- 1. What are the main differences between MS Streams & Office 365 videos? and which one is more suitable for our case? 2. Do any of these apps (MS Streams & Office 365 videos), allow the users to directly record videos? or those 2 apps only allow to upload videos? Thanks1.4KViews0likes3Comments
