Stream doesn't work in iOS Mobile App (both current and vnext beta)
Not sure if this is a bug in Stream or in the SharePoint Mobile app, but I'll post it here.
Stream doesn't work properly in the iOS SharePoint app when adding a video with the Stream Web Part on a modern page. First, you get prompted to login again. And after entering credentials, it still doesn't work to play the video. It just keeps loading with the animated stream logo in the background.
The behaviour is the same both for the currently released iOS app and the beta of the new version that is to be released soon.
Does anyone know if this is a known bug that MS is currently working on?

This is something we've been working on and continue to work on.
This has been a really hard problem to solve due to a bunch of technical challenges.
For the Android SharePoint Mobile app we were finally able to make it work where if you use the Stream webpart on a page and then load that SP page in the SP Android mobile app it now automatically logs in and you can play the video. The final changes to make it work on SP Android app are slated for one of the next updates to the app in the coming month or so.
However, the same set of solutions we found for Android don't work for iOS. There isn't a way for iOS apps to allow cross domain cookies to be set from iFrames inside a webview. We are still trying to find creative solutions, work arounds, ideas, but so far everything we've tried hasn't worked. We may need to go back to a more extreme re-architecture to make it work.

- 2 years later and still no answer for this? In this day and age, why would anyone build a video platform that doesn't work on mobile? Maybe Msft should test a few things out first - like, does it work? - so they don't have to encounter "a really hard problem to solve due to a bunch of technical challenges. " Jeez
IMHO,
The problem is more related to the Stream WebPart that Stream itself...by the way, Stream does not provide for the moment native mobile support that could be also one of the causes of this. Tagging here Marc Mroz
