Hi All, I have just updated an exchange server which was on version 15.2.1258.12 to the latest version 15.2.1258.27. The updates shows as having applied successfully without any errors. However checking in the ECP and Powershell, it till shows the old version being 15.2.1258.12 however looking in the control panel under add remove programs it shows the correct version as 15.2.1258.27. Has anyone seen this before?3.5KViews0likes1CommentNov 9 server update - authentication updates
Hi, With the Nov 9th update, (CVE-2021-42287), the PacRequestorEnforcement registry key was supposed to have been added, but when I check the Domain Controllers, I do not see this key. Also I get a warning on all Domain Controllers regarding "Ticket without a PAC". Concern is that once this update is enforced early next year, it appears that I will have authentication problems. Anyone know of further information on this, and how to resolve? I have not seen much information on this other than MS article: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/kb5008380-authentication-updates-cve-2021-42287-9dafac11-e0d0-4cb8-959a-143bd0201041 Thanks.1.5KViews0likes0CommentsSP2019 Indexing Schedule Manager won't run after Security Updates KB5001944 KB5001945 KB5002018
Hi there, We have a SP2019 On-Premises Server. After the running the following updates the Indexing Schedule Manager Timer Job won't run. Manually running Incremental and Full Crawls works fine, but the automated Timer Job fails without an error message. Any ideas? https://support.microsoft.com/en-au/topic/description-of-the-security-update-for-sharepoint-server-2019-september-14-2021-kb5002018-0421ad93-cab5-4caa-b503-f27bc7151df4: Description of the security update for SharePoint Server 2019: September 14, 2021 https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/description-of-the-security-update-for-sharepoint-server-2019-language-pack-june-8-2021-kb5001945-64d8fa19-36ac-4a60-a057-f1357e603518: Description of the security update for SharePoint Server 2019 Language Pack: June 8, https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=103195: Security Update for Microsoft SharePoint Server 2019 Core Thank you, Ian Hearnes1.1KViews0likes1CommentMicrosoft Security issues - File lists
Hi, Has others fighting with the Microsoft's CSV files when trying to check the files related to updates. Let us the latest printing nightmare issue as an example: July 6, 2021—KB5004946... On bottom you have the "File Information", and there is a link to the CSV file. When you download the file, you are getting a file which contains line like followings: Windows 10 version 1909 x86-based Out-of-band,,,, File name,File version,Date,Time,File size Microsoft.HyperV.PowerShell.Cmdlets.resources.dll,10.0.18362.959,7-Jul-2020,7:05,"76,800" . . Windows 10 version 1909 x64-based Out-of-band,,,, File name,File version,Date,Time,File size aagwrapper.dll,10.0.18362.1049,17-Aug-2020,0:44,"67,072" . . So they basically have multiple CSV files in one file. How cool it would be, if they are publishing these files so that OS version is one of the column instead of own line? And then they do have one big CSV file. Something like following: Windows OS, File name,File version,Date,Time,File size Then it would be possible to use PS against that file directly. You only need to do filtering based your OS version. #DoLessDoSmarter715Views0likes0Comments
