Search Problem

Hi, unfortunately I have fallen in this deep rabbit hole to have to report a bug in SPO - which I could not do successfully complete since three weeks as one support team after the other just tell me thats not in their responsibility 😞 Scenario: We use JSOM to send one request via the SearchExecutor which contains multiple keyword queries. Results: In approx 10-20% of all cases, the response is fine - each keyword query has results/no error - in all other cases only one query returns results but all other return a server-side SPException. The query exception details are: Message: Attempted to make calls on more than one thread in single threaded mode. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80010102 (RPC_E_ATTEMPTED_MULTITHREAD)) Stack trace: at Microsoft.SharePoint.SPGlobal.HandleComException(COMException comEx) at Microsoft.SharePoint.Library.SPRequest.FetchActiveFeaturesFromSessionCache(String bstrUrl, Int32 scope, ISP2DSafeArrayWriter p2DWriter) at Microsoft.SharePoint.SPWeb.FetchActiveFeaturesFromRequest(SPFeatureScope scope) at Microsoft.SharePoint.SPFeatureCollection.FetchActiveFeaturesFromSessionCache(SPWeb webCachedSession) at Microsoft.SharePoint.SPFeatureCollection.EnsureFeaturesData(Boolean force) at Microsoft.SharePoint.SPFeatureCollection.get_Item(Guid featureId) at Microsoft.SharePoint.Publishing.PublishingHttpModule.IsSitePublishingSite(SPSite site) at Microsoft.SharePoint.Publishing.CatalogUrlRewriter.GetCatalogPropertiesToRetrieve(SPContext currentSPContext) at Microsoft.Office.Server.Search.Query.Query.PreQueryAppendProperties() at Microsoft.Office.Server.Search.Query.Query.ExecuteQuery() at Microsoft.Office.Server.Search.Query.SearchExecutor.ExecuteQueryInternal(Query query, SearchExecutorLogEvent evt) at Microsoft.Office.Server.Search.Query.SearchExecutor.ExecuteQueryTask(Query query, Guid correlationId, Guid parentCorrelationId, WindowsIdentity windowsIdentity, SearchExecutorLogEvent evt) at Microsoft.Office.Server.Search.Query.SearchExecutor.<>c__DisplayClass38_1.<ExecuteQueries>b__0(Object obj) at System.Threading.Tasks.Task`1.InnerInvoke() at System.Threading.Tasks.Task.Execute() This happens on three different tenants and is totally independent from the search keyword itself - sending the same query multiple times returns sometimes 1 of 3 successfully, sometimes 1 of 8 ... I would be really glad to get the right direction / contact / whatsoever to report this issue - and provide a repro / demonstration if necessary. Thanks in advance Rainer575Views0likes0Comments"Please wait for Windows Search" when logging off
Hi, We use FSLogix, Azure Premium File Share, and high powered skus for the vms. When my users log out, it hangs at "Please wait for Windows Search" for up to 8 minutes before finally logging out. Also, Outlook randomly crashes with a Windows Search error. I have had a premier ticket opened for over a week with no traction so I'm reaching out here. Hoping someone can help!23KViews0likes5CommentsHow do I add people as returned search results on our SharePoint Homesite?
Our company uses Sharepoint Online Modern Experience as intranet platform. I have set up our intranet startpage as the SharePoint Homesite and have several Hub Sites created as well. So far so good. However the Microsoft Search on top of the Intranet startpage (SharePoint Homesite) seems faulty. The search field fails to show results-as-you-type and it completely omits People from the search results. If I enter "View all site settings > Microsoft Search > Configure Search Settings" I can see that the only "verticals" setup are: All, Files, Sites, News. Notice how People are not among them... Adding people as a vertical seems not be an option... How do I: 1) Add people to the returned search results? 2) Turn on "show results as you type" I guess basically the question is: How do I get the same search functionality on our intranet's start page as we enjoy on the SharePoint Startpage? Any help would be much appreciated.1.2KViews0likes2Commentsexchange 2019 outlook 2016 search problem
The problem is native from the beginning and is still present. We are in trouble with the search from outlook 2016 in online mode. We can find some results with a specific search query: (R: I: 2020 360-R: 20117- 1548GSC -A******** - Demande de pièce de rechange) * i censored some privacy info but searching for '2020-360' match all elements except for 2 specific items. Refining our search query, including other texts that is part of the object of the mail, can find also the target mails. with the query : 'Demande' we find all the items requested. We have verified the update level of the clients 2016, Office Professional Plus 2016 16.0.5095.1000 MSO 16.0.5095.1000 a 32bit we have a new fresh deployed Server Windows 2019 with exchange server 2019 CU 7 onboard.
