I'm not sure if using the tilde followed by the asterisk no longer works to find and replace the asterisk, or if I have something set weird. I am pretty sure I've always used ~* when wanting to find and replace an * but now Excel gives the error that "There's a problem with this formula". Is there another easy way to do it? Hello, I editing some word documents made by some coworkers and they have a series of tables and figures that are all named "Table XX:" or "Figure XX:" were the XX are actually two "X" characters. I need to go through and renumber them so that the first table will become "Table 1:" and the second table will be "Table 2:". I would also need to change all the figure names too. Is there a way of doing this in word? Thanks in Advance, Ryan Kung677Views0likes0Comments"REPLACE" issue on Microsoft Word
