Hello. There's a September 2023 licensing deck floating around out there from MSFT saying that Customer Voice will be end of sale as of 10/1. This is not documented anywhere else and I'd very much like to know what's up? Will there be a successor product or will this functionality be baked into the basic version of Microsoft Forms.Solved8.5KViews3likes22CommentsNew Attach Licenses for Business Central Premium - now available!

Dear community for a couple of days now, I don't see our customers/customers' subscriptions in Partner Center. Placed a support request three days ago but no reply yet. I do have all necessary permissions granted in Partner Center. Anybody else facing this issue? I could not even add a new customer (whole navigation bar and list disappeared) Any input highly appreciated 😉 cheers DanielEligibility to "Bridge to the Cloud 2" Promotion
I was told by the regional operation team that "Bridge to the Cloud 2 (BTTC2)" can be applied to customer's tenants which have never purchased CSP licenses before. Is this true? If a customer is a Microsoft 365 user and wishes to move their Dynamics on-premise to Cloud, they have to have a brand new tenant?SolvedLicensing question regarding PowerApps for external users
Hello, I have a question for the following scenario where I do not find an answer in the licensing guides: We are implementing a Dynamics Sales project where we set up the quoting process in Dynamics CE. Internal users are using the quoting beside other topics (Account-, Activity-, Opportunity-Management, ...) in the Sales Hub App with a normal Dynamics Sales license. But we have also external users who need the functionality only in a limited way to get pricing information for an account, so they will only use e.g. accounts, activities and quotes. For these users we want to build an own small model driven app which contains only the necessary forms and tables to get the price info using the quote functionality. As they will not write any restricted tables we want to use a Power Apps license for them and give them an own small model driven Power App. The external users are commercial agents of our customer who are not in anemployee-like relationship with our customer but selling his stuffon his behalf and are only guest users in active directory. As the licensing requirements in the licensing guides for external users are different between D365 and Power Platform we are nor sure how to license this scenario. Is it correct that also external users can get a Power App licence from our customer (he will purchase the licenses for them) as we can add them as a guest user in AD? Are there any limitations beside the restricted tables we have to be aware of using a power apps license? Thank`s for your answer and regards!Business Central Licensing Scenario - Other app users
Two license topics from me in one day...fun times. I'm trying to figure out what Business Central license is required for a very specific case as follows. A user works in an app on a mobile device that works in offline mode (does not need a live connection to the back-end Dynamics platforms) The back-end environment has functionality running on both D365 Sales and Business Central The user in my scenario never uses these applications directly - they only work in their mobile app The user's app shows data its own database, not directly from either system BUT, data gets pushed from D365 Sales and Business Central out to the database for the mobile app The user also performs actions in the app that get recorded (details of work performed, items used, etc.) A non-real-time integration process (running on an integration platform...assume every 5 minutes) picks up the details of items that were used and pushes them into Business Central where they are automatically posted as negative item adjustments So...my question is: What license does the mobile app user require for Business Central?SolvedCloud Migration Promotion offer
Hi I have a possible new customer, that my want to use the Cloud Migration Promotion. I know the promotion is expiring June 29th, so its a bit last minute but my questions are: - Is there a limit to the amount of users that can be added to the subscription? (If they have 50 on premise users, can they max have 50 cloud migration promotion users?) - The customer can create a cloud migration promotion subscription and add 1 user license today and add 200 users at a later date? - User licenses can only be added is the customer has an active enhancement plan? Thanks.3.8KViews0likes9CommentsBusiness Central Licensing: External Users - Customer Portal
We have a prospect for a Business Central implementation that will need a customer portal. They have a portal on their current platform with a large number of users - around 6,500. The new customer portal will be developed as a custom web application so none of the Business Central clients are being used. All good here...the end customer users qualify as External users from a licensing standpoint. My question/concern...for Business Central SAAS, how are these External users created? On Prem I can create a user with NavUserPassword authentication and mark them as License Type = External, but that's not possible in the cloud. Please don't tell me each of the 6,500 users (and any new users going forward) would need to be created by logging into the admin centre and going through the process to invite an external user, then pulling them into BC. That's just not a feasible option from a logistical standpoint.Solved3.8KViews0likes11Comments
