Cloud Migration Promotion offer
Hi
I have a possible new customer, that my want to use the Cloud Migration Promotion. I know the promotion is expiring June 29th, so its a bit last minute but my questions are:
- Is there a limit to the amount of users that can be added to the subscription?
(If they have 50 on premise users, can they max have 50 cloud migration promotion users?)
- The customer can create a cloud migration promotion subscription and add 1 user license today and add 200 users at a later date?
- User licenses can only be added is the customer has an active enhancement plan?

- Hi Ann,
- There is no direct limit to the number of users, however, this Promo Sku is only available to customers with an enhancement plan and the Promo only applies to the users over which enhancement is paid.
- It is possible to add users to a current subscription at a later date. For the ERP SKUs in Dynamics 365 (Finance, Supply Chain management), a minimum of 20 apply for the Base app.
- No, There must be an enhancement plan in place at the time the Promo is activated. If you stop the enhancement plan, you can still add additional users to the subscription at a later time, but formally it must be done from ongoing enhancement plan for those additional users. Otherwise, there is a gap between ending enhancement plan and adding the users. Hi Ann2750

Yes, Bridge to the Cloud 2 is the new promotion program, also 40% discount.
It comes only with a three year contract term and is unfortunately not meant for existing CSP customers.

I've just read the FAQ and have a few follow up questions. The FAQ states that I can only add licenses to the subscription as long as the promotion is active. Does that mean that I cannot add any licenses to the customer's subscription after June 30th 2023? Usually we can add licenses to active subscriptions and the subscription is active for 3 years, as long as the customer has an active on premise enhancement plan.

The FAQ answers this where it states:
As far as adding licenses to subscriptions that were purchased via the D365 Cloud Promotion, yes, you can add licenses as long as the terms continue to be met.
