PowerBI
4 TopicsTeams Auto Attendant & Call Queue Historical Report
Hello everyone, We are slowly moving some of our hotlines to Teams, so I was searching for a way to get the data effectively. With this, I came across the PowerBI report https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/aa-cq-cqd-historical-reports. Sadly it seems the data source https://api.interfaces.records.teams.microsoft.com/Teams.VoiceAnalytics/getanalytics is no longer valid. If I try to connect to it, I'm getting error message: Web.Contents failed to get contents from 'https://api.interfaces.records.teams.microsoft.com/Teams.VoiceAnalytics/getanalytics?query=**** (500): Internal Server Error Do you know what is the correct data source which should be used? I do have access to Teams admin center and QER (Microsoft Call Quality data source) report without any issues so this should be a problem of the incorrect data source. Also is there a way how to display a full E164 number in the call history? It seems the last four digits are always replaced with stars which I suppose is due to privacy. Thanks. Good news, Microsoft has released 6 really useful PowerBI.com reports that connect to Call Quality Dashboard data. You can download them here: https://github.com/MicrosoftDocs/OfficeDocs-SkypeForBusiness/blob/live/Teams/downloads/CQD-Power-BI-query-templates.zip?raw=true I did a quick blog overview of what's in them and how to make them work here: https://tomtalks.blog/2020/02/6-power-bi-reports-for-microsoft-teams-call-quality-dashboard-cqd/ Thoughts, questions and feedback welcome!7.1KViews3likes6CommentsBuilding a custom app that install a PowerBI tab with report
There's lots of documentation on building custom apps with tabs. There's also plenty of documentation on adding (manually) a PowerBI tab and connecting it to a report template. I'm exploring combining the two concepts and want to know if it's possible. Today: Customer logs into our product (ActivTrak) and finds the PowerBI template Customer downloads our PowerBI template and uploads to Files Customer adds a PowerBI app tab in Teams and points to our template Customer connects to the live data source with their credentials Desired: Customer finds our custom app in the Teams app store and installs it Template is embedded within the custom app and installed automatically into a new app tab Customer connects to the live data source with their credentials Essentially, we'd like to cut out the often confusing and cumbersome steps of installing the PowerBI tab and configuring by building that process into a custom app. Is this possible?
