We have a customer wanting to move from their existing CSP provider to ourselves, but they have a ‘bridge 2 cloud’ promotion of 40% discount which is mid-term. Can you confirm whether we could leverage this offer for them if we migrated their services to us, and whether the discount would carry over to us and be honoured so that they are not affected. If so, is there a particular process that would need to be followed or is it the same as migrating any CSP customer? Many thanks,Licenses required to retain access to historic data
Hi Team, Please validate if below statement is true. We need to know the minimum number of FO licenses required to retain access to historic data on F&O as the client is migrating from on-prem FO to the Business Central cloud. We believe it should be 1 according to resources available to us, but we have been told we may require all 20 FO Licenses to retain access. Please confirm which it is. Summary The AIM (Accelerate, Innovate, Move) program is built to help accelerate customers’ shift from on-premises to the Cloud. Since October 1, partners have been executing AIM Migration Assessments as part of the FY24 Business Applications Partner Activities Program. This assessment allows partners to scope and showcase the value of migrating from Dynamics on-premises solutions to Dynamics 365 in the cloud. We also introduced a fixed-fee offer to allow partners to execute assessments to a broader set of customers, including SMB accounts. Recently, we launched a post-sales partner incentive to get customers across the migration finish line! Updates to the AIM Migration Deployment Plan Offer We are expanding eligibility for our recently launched AIM Migration Deployment Plan Offer. Starting March 1, this offer will be available for both 3-year and 1-year SKUs of D365 Business Central. This offer was designed to help accelerate cloud transitions by reducing customers' migration costs. Now with the eligibility expansion, partners will be able to support a wider range of customers. The offer consists of a post-sales deployment investment from Microsoft, with payout amounts based on the Dynamics 365 Business Central annual license revenue value. Partners are paid a fixed amount after the migration customer acquires the 3-year SKU of D365 Business Central, and the partner submits a migration plan. Consistent with other Partner Activities, payouts will vary by market type (A, B and C) as follows: Engagement Size Annual BC License Value Payout range Extra-small $5,000-10,000 From $2K to $5K Small $10,001-20,000 From $6K to $15K Medium $20,001-35,000 From $10K to $25K Large $35,001-55,000 From $13K to $35K Extra-large $55,001-75,000 From $20K to $50K Partners can find more details around migration offer as well as supporting AIM resources on the AIM Migration Partner Hub page. You can also leverage AIM Modernization Centers to help you scale to support migration workloads and accelerate your customers’ move to the cloud. What’s coming next?
