I have a flow that will write details from a form when submitted. One question in the form is a choice field with an "other" option where they can enter text for the other option. I would like the flow to write "Other" as the choice column value in the SharePoint list and then take what they type in the form for the other text to be written to another SharePoint list column as the text of the other option. This will keep the column formatting on the list view consistent for the values in the choice column. Any ideas?26Views0likes1CommentMS Forms Access & Roles
Dear Community, Previously, an MS Form created by a past intern was lost when he left the company because he was the sole owner. To prevent this from happening again, I would appreciate if you could help with some clarification on a few points: Ownership I understand that, to avoid this mistake, ownership has to be shared and sharing or allocating the MS Form within a Teams Channel can help prevent ownership issues. Am I correct? Would the same approach work if the form was shared within a SharePoint or another platform? Is there a recommended best practice for this? Roles and Permissions How can I ensure that certain individuals are designated as owners (with editing and viewing rights), while others are restricted to only filling out the form without accessing submitted responses? Continuous Access and Updates for Submitters Is it possible for individuals who fill out a form to retain a copy of their submission and have the ability to update it later? If so, how can this be configured? Not sure if these are easy tasks, I came across multiple opinions and techniques online but it's still confusing. Thank you in advance for your assistance!20Views0likes1CommentUpdate to the new solution for syncing forms responses to Excel
We are excited to announce that we have a new and improved solution for syncing your form responses to Excel, with better reliability and performance! Previously, some Forms supported an older version of live data synchronization with Excel. This older solution will be gradually discontinued and completely replaced by the new solution by October 20th, 2024.65KViews1like147CommentsFind out in which language a form was submitted
Hello Community I've set up a Microsoft Forms in mutiple languages, so my user can choose the language in which he or she wishes to fill it out. After that, I want to automatically reach out to them with an email when they're done filling out the form. For that, I made a Microsoft Flow. Considering that my form is available in multiple languages is there a parameter that tells me in which language my user chose to fill out the form? So I can send them their mail in the correct language? Thanks in advance!2KViews0likes7CommentsQuiz scores and review scores are not equal. Why?
Hi maybe someone can help. Why is my actual test score 100% when I view my results, but if I check my score with the "review scores" option from admin screen, it only comes out to 67%.....? How do I get both to reflect 100%. I am looking to use the auto grade function. The drop down answers is not important as it's just gathering info. If I manually bump the score +1, that 67% won't increase (even with a refresh) to 100% but the answer gets a correct flag and I can see the "extra credit". This is very confusing for such a simple app. I get the same issue when I tried to use a branching question on another quiz. It's not being scored in one scenario (person doing the test so they get 100%), but in review scores, it's counted as a question and it comes across as a missed answer or something, so the percent is off. Thanks.4Views0likes0CommentsHow to move a Forms to OneDrive?
Hello, An user has created a Forms directly with the app Forms, so now when she wants to open answers in Excel, she has to download a file and there's no excel file in OneDrive. Is it possible to "move" it to OneDrive so she can open answers in Excel Online? Or maybe make it as a Template and then create a new Forms in OneDrive and use it..? I can't find any solution... Hi! I need to share the results of a Microsoft Forms survey, and the Summary link doesn't include the written answers to one of my questions. As you can see, I have 25 written responses that I’d like to share along with the graphs, but those answers are missing: Additionally, is there a way to customize the appearance of the shared responses? Thank you! Chris.11Views0likes0Comments
