Hello, I’m trying to configure multiple different availability date ranges for individual staff members in Microsoft Bookings. Here’s the scenario: - **For the next 2 weeks:** Staff Member X should be available Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. - **For the following 2 weeks:** Staff Member X should be available Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. - **Then for the next month:** They might only be available Monday and Thursday, etc. I found the “Custom availability by date range” option under **Booking page → Configure booking page → General availability**, but that appears to set a global schedule for the entire Bookings calendar, not for a specific staff member. When I go to **Staff → Edit Staff Member** in Bookings, I only see two options: - Use business hours - Use custom hours (which then applies indefinitely, not by date range) I’d like each staff member to have independent date ranges for their custom hours. For example, Staff Member X’s availability is totally different from Staff Member Y’s, and each can change after certain dates. **My questions are:** Is there a native way in Microsoft Bookings to define multiple date ranges with different weekly patterns for each staff member? 2. If multiple date ranges per staff member are possible, how do I enable it? Any guidance or workarounds would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!39Views0likes0CommentsHow to prevent double-bookings on my MS Bookings page.
I've created a Service on my booking page, and have submitted a meeting request for Tuesday Feb 27 at 11:00am. I go back to the booking page (acting like a second person) to book a meeting during the same date and the 11:00am timeslot still shows available. I am trying to prevent double-bookings. What can I do to ensure that "booked" date and timeslot is no longer available once a confirmation email and schedule goes out? TIA.9.5KViews1like14CommentsMicrosoft bookings + WhatsApp
Hello, I would like to know if it is possible to integrate WhatsApp with Microsoft Bookings. Currently, when a customer makes a booking, the reservation, cancellation, or rescheduling notifications are sent via email. However, I am looking for a way to receive these notifications on WhatsApp instead. Thank you!368Views0likes2CommentsMicrosoft Bookings looking at location setting in Outlook (manage hybrid way of working)
We are currently working in a hybrid environment and want to offer both onsite and remote services through Microsoft Bookings. We have set up shared booking pages and defined 1:1 services for recurring clients. However, our staff members do not work onsite or remotely on the same days, making the "bookable when staff are free" option ineffective as it doesn't account for their location. We want new clients to choose a staff member based on their availability and whether the client prefers a virtual (Microsoft Teams) or onsite meeting. We have set up our Outlook calendars to indicate which days we are onsite or remote. Is there a way to integrate this setup so that Microsoft Bookings can reflect the staff's location-specific availability? The only solution I can think of is creating a Power App with a Microsoft SharePoint Online (SPO) List that checks real-time availability from Outlook calendars and uses the "Create a booking" action in a Power Automate flow. Any advice or alternative solutions would be greatly appreciated! Thnx.208Views0likes0CommentsMicrosoft Bookings Is Ignoring Blocked Times and Showing as Available
Hi there, I am experiencing an issue with MS Bookings showing time slots as available when they already have been booked. What's especially odd, is that it's properly working for most event in my calendar, but not for the events booked with MS Bookings. I booked 4 test calls on March 29th from 3pm - 5pm. However, when booking, I still see those time slots as available: Any idea why this is happening?2.1KViews0likes6Commentscustomer able to cancel entire booking event
I use MS Bookings to run my Training session. Each session is a group booking for up to 6 people. I am the only "Staff" member in the bookings environment. One of the attendee appears to have somehow cancelled their booking and also cancelled the entire event from the bookings system. How can I find out if other people were booked onto it now who have been cancelled too. I've checked and the booking has disappeared from the system. Also, strangely, the emails notifying me of the cancellations have spelled "cancelled" incorrectly: "canceled"503Views0likes1CommentImage are lost in the confirmation email from MsBooking for the customer
So the problem is pretty simple, I want to have ''header'' in the confirmation email for the booking, it's all working fine except that the header is lost, we only have like 5% of the image... As you can see below, the image is partially erased, we can still click to open the whole thing but it's severly cropped in the email, I have tried to but it in the bottom of the message, it doesnt fix the problem, anywhere you put an image, it's massively crop, but the image is still there you can right click to download the full image. (Yes I could crop the same image with multiple line and have the full thing like a jigsaw puzzle, but this is definetly not a reasonnable solution) sorry it's in french but you can understand from the image below that the header is still there, but crop. The Sad part is : the employee HAVE the full image, but not the customer..... Any solution from the community?263Views0likes0CommentsHow not to show Names in Calendar View

We are currently using the Office 365 A1. I'm interested in implementing Bookings for students to schedule appointments with faculty members, where all staff can view each other's appointments on a centralized system calendar. Regarding the A3 license upgrade for Bookings: 1. I'm uncertain if only one A3 license is needed for the faculty member setting up Bookings, or if we also need to upgrade licenses for faculty members who will use it, or if upgrading to A3 for all faculty and students is required, which could be costly. Can a single staff member subscribe to Microsoft 365 A3, while others continue using Office 365 A1 and still access Microsoft Bookings? Regarding data privacy: 2. Can other staff members see the names of those who booked them? Is there an option to hide client information in the calendar view so that staff can only see when they are booked without revealing client details? Regarding student access: 3. Is it possible for students who are not subscribed to Microsoft 365 A3 to book appointments using Microsoft Bookings? Regarding trials: 4. Is there a free trial version available for Microsoft Bookings that we could test before committing to a subscription? Hoping for your immediate response. Thank you for your assistance.489Views0likes0Comments
