One of company user suddenly missing from active users, and I can't find it on Deleted user, last night my team on New Zealand doing synchronization, I can see all user with onMicrosoft.com are on deleted users including my account, but I can still see my account on active users tab, but one of my user is suddenly gone, only his onMicrosoft.com are in deleted users tab, I cannot see his original account on deleted users.7Views0likes0Commentsoutlook 365 set categories in admin center possible?
Hello, We're using Office 365 we have problems on multiple iMacs with the Outlook app. The colors of the categories sometimes disappear en sometimes different colors are suddenly popping up. It's happening on older iMac as on new ones as well. After a fresh install sometimes it works again for a while but then they'll start disappearing again. Very annoying and more people seem to have the same problem. Now I want to set the categories in the office or exchange admin center, but I cannot find out where I could do this. Hopefully when we set the categories for the whole company, hopefully the problems won't come back again. I think it might have something do also with delegated mailboxes but all people using them have all the rights. I have an active ESD MS Office 365 Buisness license plan of 35. Now we need to buy additional 5 ESD MS Office 365 Buisness Standard licenses. There is an option to add licenses in the Panel, but will it increase my total from 35 licenses to 40? Hi there, for a week now, Entra ID guests from Our M365 tenant have not been able to set up the Microsoft Authenticator app. Error message: "Unfortunately, an error occurred" after the number was confirmed in the app. We are sure that the problem is not in our tenant settings - but also dont find informations about a microsoft issue. Hello All, Can you please advice how do I apply a "Retention label" (Created in M365 compliance centre) to folders in a Document Library? I created this retention label below I published this label and it now appears in document library, but at a individual document level as shown below I am not sure how to make the same appear at a folder level. Note : In the actual customer scenario, they would like different retention labels to be applied to different "folders" (ie, users should be able to apply retention labels to folders, so that the documents inside those folders follow the label applied at folder level). For achieving this, I heard that we only need to create a retention label (not retention policy) as we are looking at a "Folder" level here (not site level or up). However I am not sure how to do it. Hello All, I have retention label created in M365 compliance centre, which appears as document metadata (As expected) in the document library as shown below One of the objectives is that the below retention label needs to appear at a folder level (one level up), rather than at document level. The desired outcome is that once this 3 years has lapsed, the folder should NOT be automatically deleted. It should be manually actioned by user (and the documents underneath the folder) When I created this retention label, here are the sequence of screens I went through ( I did not see the option that says "do nothing") when retention period lapses here is the retention period setting screen Here is the screenshot below that I have question about. Where is the option that says "dont do anything" after retention period lapses? It seems like I dont have that option here (Is it a setting that I need to enable somewhere?) . My goal is to have control over manually deleting documents (while respecting retention policies) without automatic deletion occuring. Hello, We are in the process of moving some of our mail-flow / transport rules over to Microsoft Purview. We don't want the DLP policy to apply when people click their "Encrypt" or "Do not Forward" buttons (RMS templates; OME encryption.) Putting "Permission Controlled" in the exceptions group should theoretically let the emails go through.The exception we have for when people put "Encrypt" in the subject line works (we have a mail-flow rule that encrypts those emails.) But actually clicking "Options" > "Set permissions on this item" > "Encrypt" doesn't remove the policy tip on an email draft, and people are unable to send the emails. Can someone verify that this rule is constructed properly? If so, we may have to reach out to Microsoft Support. Thank you so much for your time and help!204Views1like4Comments
