Cannot update from Build 26244 to 26252
Currently running Build 26244. Almost everything works except Settings -> Windows Update interface is bugged and unusable. It's been unusable since update to this build. Looking around i've found that there is also a cli interface called "SConfig" and i can install updates from there. I'm currently receiving updates for Windows Defender but didn't receive Build 26252. How do i install Build 26252? Should i burn iso to usb key and install from scratch?
Keyboard stopped working windows updates KB4023057
-After Windows updates, specifically KB4023057, Keyboard stopped to work(Function key also stuck ON). -Tried to uninstall the update a multiple times but it got installed again when windows starts always. -Currently uninstall option is no longer available in Windows updates. -Tried to Recover/restore/Reinstall Windows but the update is there. -Cannot be uninstalled from recovery screen, says uninstall failed. Keyboard TBS: -Laptop is generally a bit old so not eligible for Windows 11, currently running Windows 10. -Uninstalled device from devices manager (Keyboard PS2) - restarted -No rollback option available (greyed out) -T440s Laptop (ThinkPad) - Type 20AQ - PC02PBLN ----> downloaded all online drive updates from lenovo. -Tried to look for older keyboard drivers but none found or available. What else could be done This is certainly nor a hardware issue as device was left overnight when the update was completed and then next morning it stopped working?
Windows Update Failing
Hello, So I was updating Windows to Windows 11 Insider Preview 10.0.26120.461 (ge_release), however when I finish downloading and try to install, it fails with the error code 0x80070032. Not sure if anyone else has ran into this issue, and if you have, how did you resolve it? I cant update due to this issue. Please let me know. Thanks!
Windows 10 shutdown options
Hi everyone. I have a work laptop which is AAD joined. Previously when I downloaded updates my shutdown setting would be "shut down and install updates" or "restart and install updates". I have configured updates to download in Intune because some users are able to turn off updates. Now I can choose between "shut down and install" or just "shut down". I don't want users to be able to shut down without installing if there are updates pending. What should I do? Has anyone set up an update ring that behaves the way I want it to? Thanks everyone 🙂
Error installing updates - registry corrupted
We have a windows 2019 server which is unable to install any windows update. The reported error is the following for all the patches Windows update "Update for Windows (KB5022554)" could not be installed because of error 2147943409 "The configuration registry database is corrupt." (Command line: ""C:\Windows\system32\wusa.exe" "C:\Users\xxx.root\Downloads\windows10.0-kb5022554-x64_a4abb49dda1c095d655f6161616e11a2f9705afa.msu" ") we've already tried all the KB found so far about using DISM /healthcheck .. also tried SFC /scannow. so far non worked Has anyone any other advice ? thanks
