Exclude some Android devices from Intune
Hi, I have some challanges with older Android 4.4 devices that has no possibility to install and run Intune. How can we exlude them from endpoint (Intune) when I'm trying to access our O365 teams room? We have unamarked Intune in AzureAD for the teams room. But I'll guess we need to do something in the endpoint portal? Any idea?
Groups and Application Assignments
If I look at an Application "Apps > [AppName] > Properties", I can see under "Assignments" the Group that it is assigned to. If I look at that Group "Groups > [GroupName] > Applcations" it says "No application assignments found". Am I making a wrong assumption here? Shouldn't these match? The assignment works and the app installs, but the records don't make sense to me.
Device Owners
Hi Everyone, Relatively new to inTune and attempting to manage educational devices with EndPoint Config & InTune. All devices are corporate owned and shared, so could be used by many different users. I've noticed inTune has a primary user associated with many devices, assuming this is the first user logged in, is there a way to stop a primary user being associated? I have installed Intune Connector for Active Directory Service on 09/20/2020, it installs SSL cert with CN=Microsoft Intune ODJ Connector CA, this certificate is going to expire on 02/05/2021 Will that cert be automatically renewed, if not, how can i renew it manually ?
The Manged Home Screen app no longer provides access to installed apps
We have a kiosk profile which uses the Managed Home Screen app. We deploy 3 apps to the device upon enrollment and they were previously visible on the home screen. A week ago, the problem arose where the apps are no longer visible on the home screen. When accessing the diagnostic screen (tapping the back button 15 times) I can see that the apps are actually installed on the device. Performing a re-sync does not alleviate the problem. Exiting Kiosk mode is also not possible as the option to provide a pin is not available. The device is visible in the portal. What other troubleshooting steps can I take?
Issues with updating loginID and Intune updating loginID on iPhone
Whenever I change a loginID in AD (JDOE -> JSMITH) and change their last name in AD, in SETTINGS/PASSWORDS & ACCOUNTS/COMPANY EMAIL/ACCOUNT their registered iPhone updates the email address, to jsmith@company.com, but her username still shows jdoe@company.com It will remain like this until the weekend where the username mysteriously changes and shows jsmith@company.com Monday morning. We tried unenrolling / reenrolling the device and forcing a full sync with Azure AD but that does not work until over the weekend. Any suggestions on how to force the phone to update at the time we change her loginID in AD?
Intune and Power BI - Application Query
I'm trying to query a particular software currently installed on Intune laptop devices and provide in a report. Is this possible using Power BI? I've installed Intune (Compliance Data Warehouse), not sure how this all works together. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Juan
