Intune Device Kiosk
Hi, I'm fairly new to using Intune and Autopilot, my company have several old laptops that we want to utilise as training laptops across multiple business units, We currently use M365 with Intune/ Endpoint manager. I am looking to set these up as kiosk devices so they are restricted to 1 or 2 applications and want to have everything managed through Intune. However I can't seem to find how to best set this up. Would it be best to purchase a licence for 1 user and then log that user onto multiple devices or is possible to have multiple devices using 1 Intune device licence. Thanks
Exclude some Android devices from Intune
Hi, I have some challanges with older Android 4.4 devices that has no possibility to install and run Intune. How can we exlude them from endpoint (Intune) when I'm trying to access our O365 teams room? We have unamarked Intune in AzureAD for the teams room. But I'll guess we need to do something in the endpoint portal? Any idea?OMA-URI Lockscreen
Recently our Organization started to migrate our client infrastructure to Microsoft Intune. Windows 10 OMA-URI Lockscreen Timeout: To personalize a timer of inactivity to lock Windows 10 you will have to create a custom device configuration profile with an OMA-URI path. I will now explain you which settings you have to set to get it working: How-to The OMA-URI Path is: To define a time of inactivity create the Data typeInteger. Use your preferenced amountin seconds. (for exampe: 900 for 15 minutes.) Take a look to the image attachment for exact configuration. Now assign this device configuration profile to your device group. Make sure you also sync it to the client from the web portal of Intune, but also on the client in the company portal. Perfect, the assigned devices will now lock after a user inactivity time which you defined.
Groups and Application Assignments
If I look at an Application "Apps > [AppName] > Properties", I can see under "Assignments" the Group that it is assigned to. If I look at that Group "Groups > [GroupName] > Applcations" it says "No application assignments found". Am I making a wrong assumption here? Shouldn't these match? The assignment works and the app installs, but the records don't make sense to me.
Device Owners
Hi Everyone, Relatively new to inTune and attempting to manage educational devices with EndPoint Config & InTune. All devices are corporate owned and shared, so could be used by many different users. I've noticed inTune has a primary user associated with many devices, assuming this is the first user logged in, is there a way to stop a primary user being associated? I have installed Intune Connector for Active Directory Service on 09/20/2020, it installs SSL cert with CN=Microsoft Intune ODJ Connector CA, this certificate is going to expire on 02/05/2021 Will that cert be automatically renewed, if not, how can i renew it manually ?Intune Edge policy's not applying to new Edge 77 & later
Hi, I have searched for similar answers but can only see reply's for the new admx template for AD joined devices. I am setting up a new Azure / Intune managed domain and am creating all Intune policies from scratch. I'm still in POC stage so am working out the bugs. On of the most frustrating is the issue that once we upgrade the default edge browser on our win10 ent endpoints, with the new edge browser, the Intune policies for edge stop working. Strangely Intune reports that all policies have applied correctly. As a simple test I have set a certain url as our new home page and have set any new tab to open as the home page. I have also enabled the home button on the browser, none of them work and the page does not appear. Any help in this matter much appreciated.
