Any meeting extensions suggestions for Microsoft Teams?
Hey everyone. Which software can you recommend to enhance your Microsoft Teams meetings? There are plenty of apps in the store and I did go through a bunch of reviews but I would love some use-cases and input from the actual community. Any good apps for tracking goals and tasks? I have a client who wishes to have all their meeting recordings saved to a local server for offline backups and also their policy requires them to have these files locally available. Is there a way that this can be done by automating since it's possible to download the files and trasnfer manually. Was trying to look at the Microsoft Graph but no luck yet. Any help on this will appreciate
Enabling Microsoft Teams Room for Meeting Forwarding and Adding External Parties

We are looking for guidance on how to allow all users to forward meetings and add external parties to our Microsoft Teams Rooms. Our organization has recently adopted Microsoft Teams Rooms to enhance collaboration and communication, but we've encountered some challenges in configuring these rooms to meet our specific needs. We have two primary requirements: 1. Meeting Forwarding: We want all users to have the capability to forward meetings scheduled in our Microsoft Teams Rooms to other team members. This feature is important for flexibility and ensuring that meetings are effectively managed. 2. Adding External Parties: Additionally, we want to enable the ability to add external parties (e.g., clients, partners) to our Microsoft Teams Room meetings via forwarding the email. This is crucial for our external collaborations and ensuring seamless communication. We've been exploring the Teams admin settings and documentation, but we haven't been able to find clear instructions on how to achieve these objectives. Has anyone successfully configured their Microsoft Teams Rooms to enable these features? If so, could you please share your insights, guidance, or any steps that worked for you? Anyone else having this issue? I've been doing a lot in Teams Immersive Spaces. It has worked in New Teams for most of the year. I've demonstrated it in front of live audiences successfully for most of the year too. Until about two weeks ago. I was in front of an audience, went to show them how it works on a Business Standard tenant I've had for about 10 months, and boom, no Immersive Space (3D) on the View menu. I have all the right settings, the right licenses, and it has been working fine until now. It doesn't matter if I am doing a "meet now" or a scheduled meeting. Alone, or with others invited. I've made sure my version is up to date. I've removed and reinstalled Teams, I've tried it with other accounts, I've done a reset and a repair. I've rebooted the computer. I've tried it on other Windows 11 machines with Teams. I have an enterprise tenant, also was able to use Immersive Spaces in Teams, that also has this issue using the clients on my computers. It is intermittent. Some of my friends who tried it for me, can see it on the menu (including on the Mac), some can't. It often works once, then the Immersive Space (3D) menu item then disappears, and even a quit and restart of Teams won't bring it back. It does seem to be more dependable on the Mesh admin trial licenses than the paid for Teams Premium licenses for some reason. Not sure if that's a red herring, but I thought I'd mention it. Also, occasionally, the users I invite (if I do a scheduled meeting and not a meet now), will show up briefly as unknown, when they've had the right licensing for a while, but this disappearing menu item thing happens even with no one else invited. Anyone else having this issue with Teams? Have you found a fix? I've just really gotten people comfortable using the feature, and now it's not dependable.Adjustable section sharing
Hello, I noticed that Zoom now offers the ability to share a freely adjustable section of any screen. As a MS trainer and solution developer I find this feature incredibly useful and was wondering if anybody knows of there are any plans to implement a similar option in Microsoft Teams? Thank you! Subtitles in another language for a teams conference doesn't make any sense
Hi everyone, If someone wants to rewatch the conference recording and set the subtitle language to English (the main language of the conference is German), the subtitles currently do not make sense. Is this an issue with settings, possibly because the language was not correctly set in the conference options, or is it a licensing problem? What needs to be considered to ensure that the subtitles are correctly translated in the recording?
Is there any way to set the language of transcripts on meeting recordings?
We're using MS teams to record our meetings and automatically generate transcripts in spanish (Mexico) which teams automatically sets to spanish(spain) and butchers the entire conversation. It works well, great even, when spanish (Mexico) is set manually, but its a massive hassle to do that every single meeting. I want to know if theres a way to set the language of the meeting to be spanish (Mexico) and have it stay that way unless its manually changed.How to have my presentation as just a tiny window
Basically i want my shared presentation to be small, just big enough for somebody to know where we are and they can review full screen outside of Teams as needed as we go along. For when I want the Teams focus to be the people not the content. Ideally doable with or without Together Mode.
Voice Profile Storage and Export Options
I'm starting to use the speaker attribution feature in Teams Rooms. Now that were have Copilot and Intelligent Meeting Recap I need this in place for Teams Rooms. Once I register my voice and face in the new Teams Client, where is this data stored? and how do I delete these voice and face profiles for users?
