For the life of me, I can not understand why there is nothing posted on the downloads page(s) for windows server regarding verification of the download. Not even an MD5. This day in age we need more security, and the most basic thing is missing from what is critical. I understand MS does not like to use public certificates as they use signatures for their products. However, that is AFTER the file has been downloaded, and opened. I'm trying to verify Server software. This is mean to be at the center of business. Why is there not more professionals demanding MS correct this problem. I know it's has been going around for a while, and I haven't had a need to download server software for many years so I had no idea of the change. Can someone tell me where to find a file hash from the microsoft domain? I have already seen 3rd-party, but those can not be trusted. Consistently, when trying to download the latest ISO of the latest Windows 11 Insider Preview Build (DEV), I get the following error: Error We are unable to complete your request at this time. Some users, entities and locations are banned from using this service. For this reason, leveraging anonymous or location hiding technologies when connecting to this service is not generally allowed. If you believe that you encountered this problem in error, please try again. If the problem persists you may contactMicrosoft Support – Contact Uspage for assistance. I have tried this in Edge and Edge Canary, to no avail. I can download builds via WIndows Update on another machine, perfectly fine, so I am unsure as to why this doesn't let me. I did try contacting Microsoft support but they said I need to post here. Any help greatly appreciated, this is somewhat time critical as the build on this machine has now expired due to it not being switched on for a while. Thanks in advance.3.8KViews0likes1CommentCannot download Windows Insider Release Preview Channel build 22621 (22h2)

Since 25083 doesn't seem to work (and I can't perform an in-place upgrade, it goes through the wizard and then fails straight away - tried it on a bare metal server as well as a VM) I'd like to try an older build. Is there a place where I can download an older build?1.4KViews1like1CommentWindows Server vNext SAC ISOs
Dear Windows Server team, it has been a while since the SAC images have been made available. From the Server Insider page we we can only download the LTSC of Server vNext while SAC has been removed. I understand the idea of Windows Server SAC and its very limited intended usecase but also wonder why you do not publish SAC ISOs / VHDX anymore. Thanks for explaining. ccMary HoffmanSolved1.5KViews0likes2CommentsIso of buld 20282 brokern?
I have tried several times to download the iso for the build 20282 of Windows Server vNext LTSC. One of them was via Microsoft Edge, on the previous Windows Server vNext LTSC build. I tested if the iso downloaded properly by un-zipping the iso with 7zip. It gave erros on multiple files. So, deleted the iso, then downloaded it again, on another machine that has Ubuntu 20.04 as the only os and used Firefox to download the iso. After the download, transfered the iso to an external hard drive, then to the Windows Server testing machine. When I un-zipped using 7zip, I got the same error message. Burn it to a DVD RW and tried to install from scratch, it failed to boot. Tried an in-place upgrade using both the setup file on the base of the installing DVD, then the setup file in the sources folder. Both were not working. The iso files might be broken.Solved3.6KViews0likes13Comments
