2904 Topicsremoving an unused account from the welcome screen
I share an office computer with several colleagues and when I turn it on I see the Teams welcome screen with several accounts of those who have used it, including a former colleague who no longer works with us. I want to remove her name, but I don't know how. I have removed her account in the general Windows settings, but her name is still there in Teams and gives me a little trigger every time (she left to avoid mobbing charges...) How can I make Teams forget about her?Solved3.3KViews1like3CommentsOutlook group calendar linking with teams channel?
Can I link an existing group calendar in outlook with our Teams channel? I have found out that I can copy the URL link and add a website in my Teams channel and share it that way. However, for the group calendar I'm not able to obtain that URL link in the same way. Thank you! Inge31KViews0likes9CommentsParticipant Camera Questions
During trainings, we'd like to be able to require all attendees turn their cameras on, however, their cameras are only visible to the presenter and not other attendees. We run a 2 person training team, so one presents and the other would monitor the participants. We are trying to eliminate as many distractions as possible and this is one way to do that. We had the Premium subscription, but could not require cameras on.48Views0likes2CommentsRespond to Teams Messages with Multiple Emoji Reactions
The need for more nuanced responses to Teams chat and channel messages can apparently be met through multiple emoji reactions instead of a basic one-emoji response like a smile or thumbs up. In any case, users can add up to 20 emojis in response to Teams chat and channel messages. The possibilities of what 20-emoji combinations might communicate are endless, or so it seems. https://office365itpros.com/2025/06/06/multiple-emoji-reactions-teams/1.9KViews1like2CommentsNo meeting email notification to internal participants
Hi, Does anyone know if it is default behaviour that when you create a Teams meeting only external participants receive an email notification for the meeting? Currently when a meeting is created, internal organisation participants have the meeting added to their Microsoft Calendar but do not get an email notification. Is there a policy that needs to be changed to allow this behaviour? I thought this would have been the default way it would be done. Thanks!114Views0likes5CommentsHow to have more than one video chat at one time?
I was wondering if anyone knows how to have more than one video chat at the same time? Example I want to book 4 video chats using my own account, view the video chats at the same time and date. ( I would use outlook calendar to book 4 different video chats with 4 different users). Problem is if I'm using the MSTeams app I can only view 1 chat. If I click on my calendar invite and open the next video chat scheduled at the same time it overrides the first one. I did figure out how to view 2 video chats at once. I open one in the app and the second one in a browser such Microsoft edge by copying the video chat hyperlink from the calendar invite and pasting it the browser. I then select view in browser. This does not override the MSteams app. There is no way to open the 3rd and 4th video chat. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Having the video chats in separate windows is very important as I cannot have them in one video chat together. Thank you.4.1KViews0likes4CommentsCreating a shortcut from one Teams file folder to another Teams file folder
I'm a project manager. When using MS Windows Explorer and creating project folders, there are many times where I need to create a shortcut within a specific folder to view other files in another folder that's in a different location within Explorer. It's quite easy to create a shortcut to a file/folder then copy that shortcut over to my specific location. But my new company wants all project related files kept in Teams. So there is a Photos and Videos folder that's in the root directory so that all photos for all projects can easily be found. Then, I have a Project Job Number specific folder that has a folder within that is for just my projects. I don't want to replicate the files in two locations for many obvious reasons. Is there a way create a link from my pics folder in the root, to my pics folder in the job specific folder? Thanks.9.6KViews1like4CommentsHow to COMPLETELY delete / unistall Teams
I have an issue with the New Teams. In the old Teams I had access to a guest account and could easily switch. After updating to New Teams - the account that get shown has a combination of the guest org and my own org. I have no way to switch to the guest account. Then when I log out I see a list of other accounts I have used in the past. These are not guest accounts but actual login accounts. I don't have access to them anymore and they are not listed as organisations I'm a member of. I have uninstalled Teams, deleted cache several time but I can not get everything deleted! I have created a new windows profile to test and the issue does not appear there. (not the solution I want) So how do I COMPLETELY DELETE / UNISTALL Teams? I want everything gone from my work profile so I can get a clean install that works.311KViews1like12CommentsNative Teams Phone - Background Image
Hello all, Recently Our org. have purchased a few Native Teams Desk phone Poly CCX600 & Conference Trio C60. It appears the default Teams background image, which looks almost blank, after signing in the phone. I followed up the background image document provided by the vendor Poly without luck. Is anyway to modify the background image on these native Teams phones? Your information and support are highly appreciated. Best regards, EZ52Views0likes2Comments
