Morning, I am looking for a solution on how I can manage our user contacts and sync changes if an employee changes his or her position, phone number or leaves the company. The changes are updated to the GAL but how can I update them to our employees' phones (iOS and Android) At the moment the process is very straightforward but slow: 1. New user is onboarded to a company 2. A phone is given to the employee and the initial list of contacts is imported from GAL. 3. The user has to manually update the contact on his or her phone to update the changes from GAL. Thanks!Solved1.7KViews0likes2CommentsChange the default settings to hide Microsoft 365 Groups from the global address list.
Hi, How can I change the default settings for Microsoft 365 groups so when a new group gets created by default it doesn't appear in GAL? I don't want to do it per group so the below command doesn't fulfil what I'm looking for: Set-UnifiedGroup -Identity "Legal Department" -HiddenFromAddressListsEnabled $true Thanks14KViews0likes3CommentsDisplaying GAL in a sharepoint site

Hi, Using the option in the Admin Center to hide a user from the GAL, I've been able to make it so it does not appear on OWA, but it still appears on a search on Teams Application. Can this be done somehow? Listing set to Off: User not showing in OWA: User appears on a Teams search:2.1KViews0likes0CommentsScoped Directory Not Working
Hi, I have setup an address book policy in exchange and have scoped directory on in teams. The ABP is working great in outlook only showing who we wanted but in Teams it is inconsistent. For some users it works great but for others they see certain users that shouldn't be in search. And even the users showing in search incorrectly is inconsistent, for one user they see contact A but not contact B and another user will see contact B but not contact A even though nobody should see contact A or B. This issue is on both the desktop version of teams and the browser one. Is there anything else in the back-end I need to do to get this to work?Solved2.7KViews1like3CommentsPowerShell to Expose Microsoft Teams in the GAL?
We would like users to be able to view groups created via Teams in the GAL. I found the article but cannot find documentation on docs.microsoft.com. Does anyone have a link to Microsoft's advice on this? Thanks in advance for your help. http://blog.schertz.name/2018/07/displaying-teams-in-the-exchange-online-address-book/2.8KViews0likes4Comments
