Forms Responses
145 TopicsResubmitted response overrides original response instead of making a new entry
Hi, I have a Microsoft Form that allows respondents to edit their submissions after submitting. Last week when someone resubmitted their response, it created a new entry in the Excel sheet which is what I prefer since it triggered a Power Automate flow. However, I ran it again this week and now it seems to override the original response in the Excel sheet. This does not trigger the flow, which is a big issue. Does anyone know why this might be happening/how to fix it? Thanks in advance!81Views0likes3CommentsAllow hidden fields
Hi DingkunXie Can the product team do the following: Create an option to make a field hidden or read-only Allow URL parameters to populate the hidden or read-only field Currently we can use a workaround to hide a field using branching logic, but the hidden field can't be prepopulated with the URL parameter :( This small change will unlock a huge amount of value in the product! Especially in the age of automation and Copilot. Looking forward to seeing this happen :)86Views1like2CommentsMultiple choice numerical answer question
Let me try to explain what I am trying to do: I would like to have a single question where I have a list of items showcased and the answer I would require is a numerical value that is assigned to the listed item. In the sense that I would like to ask a percentage of a feedstock material that a facility receives and would give 3-4 common options and would like for the people to answer a numerical value corresponding to the showcased predefined answer. I have searched and not found that this is possible with Microsoft forms, even that I think should be relatively simple from the code perspective. Multiple choice answers only accept select the box option and a numerical value is only available in text answers. The not attractive solution I have found is have 5 questions one behind the other that each accepts a numerical value answer, but this is not the most stylistic and clean solution. Is there a way to put it in the form I would like to have this question? Thanks in advance for the time!83Views0likes1CommentCustom Form Notifications for External Forms
Anytime someone external submits a MS Form, it shows as anonymous in the email notification. There needs to be an option to show the name or first name, last name field on the form or have the option to send a notification with a summary of the individual responses. This is helpful for when I'm collecting responses for job application candidates across multiple different roles/forms within a company. Its better than creating 50 power-automates and deleting and recreating them as positions in my organization open and close constantly.73Views0likes1CommentSorry something went wrong - Please make sure you have permission to access this form.
New to forms, trying to create a survey that users in my organization can use to indicate if they're using software. When I copy the URL and send it out, I can access the form myself as the form creator from the link, but everyone else that tries to access the form gets the error message in the title. The technical details are: I've had the users try a different browser with no change. I have it set so that only people in my organization can respond as I want to record names. Not sure where else to look for access permissions. I've read many of the threads with the same error message and have validated that all settings should be correct for access and that the people I'm sending the form to are logged in with their business account. Any suggestions? TIA!Solved3.3KViews0likes5CommentsForm can not send data to sheet - in company domain
