5 TopicsOneDrive on new Windows computer
Hi all, sorry if this is already been asked, I tried a quick search and couldn't find my problem. I have a Onedrive family subscription, with 5 accounts that I manage (one is my main account and the other four have been registered only to upload my files). Some months ago, I uploaded all my files split between these accounts, sharing them all with my main account. This week I setup a new windows pc, using one of the secondary accounts that has files on it. I chose not to back up my computer. Now my files on said account are gone, it's totally empty. If I log in with that account on the browser I see nothing, all the storage space is available. The recycle bin is empty, no recent files. Strange thing is, if I login with my main account (the one I shared all my files to), I can still see the files, but the field in the details tab telling me which account is sharing with me (the owner), is empty, no name. Does anyone know what I have to do to have all my files available again on my secondary account? Thank you very much!505Views0likes1CommentMicrosoft Edge Kids! - Kids mode added to Edge - What an Amazing feature! (●'◡'●)

If we learnt one thing in 2020, it’s how to use video conferencing to replace in-person meetings. Nowhere has this been more obvious (to me) than family meetups. Sure, I’m doing more conference calls for work, but I’ve always done conference calls for work. I’ve never done them for catching up with my extended family, though. Skype, Teams, Zoom, HouseParty – I don’t know about you, but we’ve tried them all. They all have their advantages and disadvantages. As a developer, I was left thinking “I wonder if I could do something different: something that’s just right for our family, with just the stuff we need, and easy enough for everyone to use”. Post continues at: How to: Create your own Family Video Room using Azure Communication Services without writing any code (if you don’t want to) | The thoughtstuff Blog where I talk about how I used the Azure Communication Services sample code, with some modifications, to create a family video room, secured with a PIN. The blog contains links to a GitHub repository you can use as a template to create your own family video room, powered by Azure Communication Services!763Views2likes0CommentsHow to enable InPrivate browsing in Microsoft Edge?
I am a Microsoft Edge user whose Microsoft account was opened nearly four years ago when I was a child. As an Edge Insider, I want to try out the InPrivate browsing mode in Microsoft Edge but there is an option in the ellipsis menu as Managed by your family group and the option for InPrivate browsing is disabled for me. I tried to enable InPrivate browsing mode on http://family.microsoft.com to check if I can change the settings, I also checked from my mom and father's account but I still could not figure it out. I need help to enable this option. Any kind of help will greatly be appreciated.Solved24KViews1like4CommentsTeams for Microsoft 365 Family Status and Questions
Background: I've been global admin for a 365 Business Basic tenant since early 2020, so already have Teams. I've also had Microsoft 365 Family (formerly Office 365 Home) for years. Back in 2019, I created a free Teams instance using my personal Microsoft account. We've been hearing about Teams Family for months. Now it's October and I still don't see any difference. When logged into my personal Microsoft account, Teams still doesn't appear in the Office app or Office.com or Live.com all apps list. The only thing I've noticed is greater promotion of free Teams for everyone (not just 365 Family subscribers). This begs the question: Is there or will there be any difference between free Teams and Teams for 365 Family? Should I just keep using the free Teams instance I created more than a year ago and just expect to see a Teams shortcut appear inside MS 365 Family at some point?Solved11KViews1like11Comments
