I have an ASUS Zenbook Q536FD running Windows 11 Home 10.0.26200 Build 2600. It started off crashing every one or two hours, now it crashes right after I login. Hello everyone, I would like to find some Windows applications/softwares to monitor changes to a directory on remote computers, which consist of: A client program that runs on the machines to be monitored. A server program that runs on the monitoring machine. * Detailed description: Client program: connects to and exchanges information with the server. Server program: Manages the list of clients. Selects which client to monitor and selects the directory on the client machine to monitor. All changes to this directory (deleting/adding subdirectories, deleting/adding/modifying the contents of files within the directory) must be reported to the user (on the server). Must be able to monitor multiple clients simultaneously (each client monitors only one directory). Graphical user interface. Thank you very much.31Views0likes2CommentsFrequent Crashing
Hi Everyone, I am experiencing frequent crashing on my new PC and am having trouble to determine the cause. Windows is Event Log is not showing anything at the time of the crash, and I only see Power Kernel errors which appear after I have already restarted. (When the crashes occur, I am unable to ctrl alt delete or alt f4 or win+shft+ctrl+b to reset the graphics driver - the only thing I can do is hold down the shutdown button). I've had the PC for 2 weeks and use it mainly for gaming. In my first week, I was experiencing frequent crashing in games (usually crashing within 10 minutes - 3 hours of straight playing). I couldn't figure out what caused it but decided on switching my RAM from EXPO 2 to EXPO 1 profile. This seemed to have fixed the issue for a week, but just tonight I experienced another crash 2 hours into gaming. This time upon trying to restart, Windows kept on crashing while I attempted to login. I was able to reach the recovery environment and start in safe mode. After restarting, I am now back in normal mode and able to do general browsing. (Have also disabled EXPO entirely). Given that I was having trouble getting into Windows again, is it possible that my issue might be related to Windows and any suggestions what I can do to find the cause /fix this? Other things I have already tried: Running Prime 95/Furmark stress tests on CPU/GPU (individually and simultaneously for 30 minutes) with no crash. Memtest 86 4 passes did not turn up any errors (while I still had EXPO 1 enabled).27Views0likes1CommentAI Genius Season 2: MVP Speakers Power Asia’s AI Tour—Build Smarter, Faster, and Hands-On

Looking to run a script on an on-prem server to collect audit logs from Exchange online without storing credentials in the script. Was wondering what the current best practice for this is, or if anyone knows how to do it? Have stumbled across Azure automation, but not sure that will be able to run from on-prem or not and my google-fu isn’t conclusive. Has anyone done this and could point me in the right direction? One of our local PowerBI guys has been using his own AD user account at the moment and that’s clearly BAD.27Views0likes1CommentUnable to remove or hide failed Powershell updates in WU
Failed updates such as PowerShell v7.4.6 (x64) appear in Windows Update history and Reliability Monitor even though PowerShell 7 is not serviced through Windows Update. These entries look like genuine failures and cause unnecessary stress and confusion for users. Currently, there is no way to hide or remove these entries, which makes troubleshooting harder and leaves the system looking unhealthy when it is actually fine. I strongly request that Microsoft reintroduce the ability to hide or remove updates from the Windows Update history. At minimum, users should be able to mark failed updates as “ignored” or “hidden” so they no longer appear as ongoing problems. This feature existed in earlier versions of Windows (“Show or Hide Updates” troubleshooter) and was very useful. Bringing it back would reduce confusion, improve user confidence, and save time when dealing with harmless update failures.29Views0likes1CommentLong Date Format Text Wrapping
I need my dates to be in the long date format: Monday, December 8, 2025 However, I also want that text to wrap. I do not want an really wide column for that date. I would like it to wrap at whatever point it wrap at when I adjust the column width. Simply choosing "wrap text" in the alignment section does not work. Any column width shorter than the amount of space needed for the entire date turns the date in that cell to pound signs. Heck, I'd be happy if I could even just shorten the column width and see only the beginning of the date. Though I would prefer it just adjusting like it does in every other column. I have tried work arounds like a custom date format where you force the second line to be part of the date - which it will do but the column width still must be as long as if it were in one long line or it still goes to pound signs. Is there a workaround that I can't find? Is this something that Microsoft could work on fixing in an upcoming app update? Because I have been suffering through this problem for years and would love for it to be fixed. (Also - I do not want to change the column to "text" - I want to be able to type in 12/9 and have it automatically change to Tuesday, December 9, 2025 for me. I am often changing dates or inserting dates and need it to be dynamic and not manually entered each time. (Thus the whole point of having the date format to begin with.)7Views0likes0CommentsOEM Activation
Recently upgraded my SSD and whenever I try to reactivate windows 11 on the fresh install, the troubleshooter fails. Is there any sure fire way to contact support to see about them possibly reactivating my license? Better go ahead and add it is a legit activation of windows 11.35Views0likes2Commentsno me funciona la barra espaciadora (solo en word)
