Suppress notifications during calls/meetings
hi everyone. I've seen a few notes about muting notifications during calls, but along with that, I need notifcations suppressed. I can't handle all the constant - y'all, it's CONSTANT - little convo popups while I'm trying to focus on a call. Muting all convos manually really isn't realistic. Is there a way to just cancel popups during certain periods?
Teams Notifications with Guests
HI We running 365 internally and I am a member of a number of Teams. This works fine However we have started collaborating with a 3rd party who also runs 365 and Teams. I have been invited as a "Guest" to there environment and now a member of some of there Teams. To get to there Teams environment I need to logon to Teams and in the top right hand corner press the drop down arrow to move between my company Teams account to the 3rd partys teams setup. This works ok, however if I am invited to a chat with members of the 3rd party (ie outside of teams channel) this chat happens in the 3rd party tenant and I do not see the chat withing my 365 tenant. If this how it works? I would have thought I shoudl see the chat in my Tenant ? Thanks
Search function crippled
When you search now (for messages older than maybe a few months) in teams you will only find the exact message matching what you are searching for but there is no way of seeing the context. This is a big problem since often you might search for something like "What is the password for x?" then the search result will be useless. What's the point of saving all this data if we have no way of finding it? I think this is ridiculous and it doesn't even seem like Microsoft is working on implementing a fix for this going by their latest update here: https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/555103-public/suggestions/32343385-specific-search But then again their Uservoice isn't exactly closely managed I rarely get any updates from it nowadays. This makes me worried about how long we are going to have to wait until we get a resolution to this problem.
Notifications not working
No one in our office receives notifications for messages in our team channel even when mentioned. No banner, sound or anything. I've checked multiple times that all notifications are set properly I'm at a loss. The one thing that does happen is the task bar icon in the bottom right hand corner goes from green to red.
